You got me thinking now. I know the last b model and the last superliner are pretty well known trucks. Anybody know of the last R model built? As in true R model, not  RD.

The production list lists three of them built until 1990, the R686R, R688R and R690R. I don't know what the last R is for.  1990 was also the last year for the RD.

1989 was the last year of production.  This truck was probably registered in 1990 and was written for that year.

The R suffix indicates a right hand drive model with production continuing into 1990.

Date of sale and title in N.Y., there was a B Model 6 wheel dump owned by Horan Sand and Gravel they bought new from Mineola Mack and was titled as a 1967.

I read somewhere there was a special edition of the RD, legend, which were the last ones built. Anybody know of them?

The RD was larger and slightly thicker frame material.

R          9" X 3.25" X .250"

RD  10.62" X 3.25" X .312"

Ok cause I ll be in a quarry or dump site and guys will ask me is that an RD that it might be something  obvious other than it being awesome
