Popular Post Lmackattack 1,053
Here is a good one from 15 years ago. Some eastern European trucker ( in a volvo) that cant speak English comes into our shipping and receiving at the race team. He is looking for 300 Tower Pky. Our address is 500 Tower Pky and we are at the end of the street so someone tells him it must be the next driveway down. Again real broken English with him and no mention of what company he is looking for. About 20 mins later he comes driving back into our parking lot but with 2 police cars escorting him. The cop ask me if they can hold him and his truck in our lot while they figure some things out. "Sure no problem". One cop stays with the trucker while the other leaves. I tell the cop that stayed with the driver that this guy was just here looking for 300 Tower parkway but he did not speak English very well. The cop says " He ran into some trouble at Hewitt, thats all I will say right now" So now im a little nosy . I grab a fellow co worker and we walk over to the Hewitt HQ employee parking lot just behind us where we see cop cars all over the lot. We spot a car at the far end of the lot flipped over on its side so we walk over where we see not only is it on its side but pushed into a 3 other cars. Now we see employees are walking out of their office to see if their car was one that was hit. we look down a ways more and see people standing around another car on its side. We walk over there and we can see that not only was another car flipped but the trailer drove over the hood of a honda and the ICC bar ripped it up pretty good as well. Im looking at the path of his destruction when I notice some skid marks on the pavement. I yell to my friend to come check this out. The skid marks were from the tractor drive wheels. I say to my friend "he put the F*&^ing power divider/axle lock in" here is about 20' of tandem axle duel wheel skid marks in a zig zag shape as he pulled and pushed his way to get the trailer over the cars..... now a hewitt employee come walking up to claim his wrecked honda. his car has tire marks across the front and he is just smiling looking around asking the cops where are the cameras at... he thinks he is being played for a comedy act...the cop keeps telling him "sorry man but you are not going to be on T.V." So after a walk around the lot all in all there were about 8 or 9 damaged cars. we get back to our shop and I see that the cops have the guy in the back of the squad car and my co worker is unloading a few skids off this guys trailer. He hands me the paperwork and indeed the address on the paperwork said 300 Tower Pky with our company name on it. a very simple typo mistake. It was a shipment of oil and brake discs for us but this guy could not speak in good English to communicate with us. A very costly mistake on his part. 3 1 1 1
66dc75 989
I had a driver deliver to me one day and pull a u turn out of the parking lot. Ran over one of my employee's Silverado and dragged it into the other two employee's cars. What a s#!t show.
Freightrain 2,506
Just the other day on FB, a buddy showed a truck stuck in his yard at his shop. Seems he has a huge area, but somehow this driver never turned the wheels and drove straight off the road into the ditch. SMH. Quote Larry 1959 B61 Liv'n Large...................... VaPatentman 169
Between Swift and J. B Hunt kind of makes you want to stay off the road. WASHINGTON — A fatal vehicle fire shut down traffic in both directions on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Wednesday. Outer Loop through lanes could remain closed during Wednesday evening’s rush hour. The blaze was ignited after a northbound tractor trailer lost control and struck a boom truck and two other highway construction vehicles, according to Maryland State Police. That crash killed the tractor-trailer’s driver. Seven others were treated and released. One was taken to the hospital. Sad to hear this resulted in a loss of life. Quickfarms 526
I was working at a plant and I saw several of the big carriers drivers drop trailers facing the wrong direction in the lot. It looked like that fancy sleeper prevented them from backing in or turning around.

Would have liked to watch his antics with a trailer hooked up.
