77_Cruiser Posted December 30, 2017 Share Posted December 30, 2017 Hi All, I am en-route to pick up a '77 Cruiseliner. The previous owner said I need 4 6V batteries to get this thing off his property. Question is , since 6V are hard to come by these days, is there another way to get the job done for these model years with 2x 12 V modern batteries? If the 6 V are just wired in series this should work, but if they are in parallel, then I would definitely need actual 6V to keep the bus voltage where it needs to be and not fry an antique's electrical system.
