Magnum Superliner in boneyard

Recommended Posts

While  checking  out  ebay  the  other  day, found  a speedometer  for an '85 Mack. What the '85 Mack  it came out  of,turned  out  to  be  a Magnum Superdog looking pretty  much intact. It is at Spalding  Truck Parts  in Washington  state. The  pics  "pixel out" quickly, so it's  hard to get a good  look at it. It looks like the  aluminum  frame rails, may have been  the issue for  it's  present  location. Seems  a shame to part it out. Lots of  good stuff  here.  AlE.jpg.83567e22d86ea967474d36cac69edc5d.jpg59bcf7ef92461_E(1).jpg.e2bad3e3577efd828b13dd3219563d30.jpg W.jpg.33aed96e9763dc50a0862766ef4b2931.jpg

Sorry to say that Magnum has been there for a few years.  The photos that junkyard post are how it looked when it came in and not what it is now. There is not much left of it these days, just sad.

That's too bad because in the pics it looks pretty dang clean and complete.

Thanks  mackey  for thinking of  me and  ranchhopper, but we already  have  trucks. I was thinking  of you for  this  one! But as AZB755V8  says, sounds  like we're  all a little  bit  too late on  this  one. Al

Yeah such a shame.I know I need to get an old one to redo. Driving  that 90 RD is kinda like a project  truck keeping it up lol.

I  got the power steering pump from that Magnum. I saw many E9 engine parts on Ebay years ago and called about that truck. They said it came in whole and went out in MANY parts.

Man that's a shame. I guess in the condition it's in it's worth more in parts than complete. Not in my eyes though.

That's sad but true for a lot of old vehicles.
