A call for riots

Probably to keep the religious right wingers in congress happy so they don't impeach him. But that would be expecting Trump to behave in a logical manner... Trump is more like a child very temporarily fascinated by often meaningless stuff. Remember, this is the guy who saw a Mack truck in the White House driveway, climbed in, and honked the horn...

Most jobs it's time to file your papers long before you turn 80 years old... 80 years old plus a brain tumor? Definitely time to retire. I guess it's pretty hard to jump off that Congressional gravy train.

Makes you wonder why? I'm not certain, but do ponder if his wife gets a bigger payout if He dies employed. Don't even want to think that would be a factor, but consider Bud Dwyer. Still got that news conference video stuck in my head to date (and "Hey man, nice shot" song). He wouldn't let himself go to jail and he knew his goose was going to cook so he stood in front of a TV audience, declared he would not resign from office, had his assistant hand him a mystery envelope, pulled out a .357 and punched a hole in his palate. Ends up he secured a 1.28 million dollar death payout to Mrs. Dwyer by doing it before fully convicted. Bends my mind, the most selfless, and simultaneously selfishly greedy, act committable.

Given that Senator McCain has been a federal employee for most of the last half century, he's maxed out his Civil Service pension and would earn about the same amount retired as he does serving in the Senate. so don't complain... Senator McCain and many of his fellow senators and congressmen are pretty much working for free!

Yes and in the case of McCain, he is a petulant and vindictive octogenarian.  The bum just can't get over having lost 2 presidential elections.  So with him now, it's not about policy or doing the right thing for the U.S. citizen.  It is all about getting even with Trump, the person whom he thinks denied him on his second and final attempt at the presidency and he does his best to undermine the administration under a pretend veil of patriotism that is wearing thin.

His next mission is teaming up with a bum from S.C. to do what they can to drag us into war with Russia and N. Korea.  The petulant McCain believes he will be more relevant when we are involved in wars.  IMHO he has transitioned from elder statesman to now be a national liability.

McCain should have been gone a long time ago  - as a senator
