That is very cool. Nice save.

In addition to all of the great help and information you will get from this site you need to send the chassis number to the Mack Museum along with a suitable donation. They will send you any and all information they have about your truck including who the first purchaser was as well as an owner's manual and other technical information about the truck.

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!

My wife!

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.  Susan likes the truck as much as I do.
We live outside city limits on five acres.  The closest house which is a couple hundred feet to the side of us... let's just say they aren't very neighborly and we've had issues.  Long story for another time.  Breaks my heart the large rusty lighted display in the driveway that divides the two properties doesn't sit well with them like it does with us   ;)

Nice save!  I like the Coke machine too...

If you'd like me to add your truck to the B-Model registry, where we try to keep track of the ones still around, feel free to send me your s/n and any info you're up for sharing about the truck, or you can check out the data form at http://www.mackb-modelregistry.com/

Thanks Mike.  I'll get you the info.  I have the title and door plate info but didn't learn until today there's a s/n on the frame near the right front shock mount.  Want to get that also.

Looks like I'll probably submit the info to the historical museum also.  What do I have to lose, right?

Wow lucky you...... Enjoy your 2 great bargains...bob

Thanks Bob.
Actually, aside from the Mack and Coke machine two parts tractors were acquired.
To top it off I also got a Lincoln arc welder (been wanting one for awhile) and a home made metal forge.  May give it a shot at making a knife or two.  Then try a sword.  I like to stay busy

I hear ya.  Got a 30x40 workshop that's filled with projects and play toys.  Definitely outgrown it.  Sometime next year it will double in size.  Needing to build a paint booth.  Two welders here now.  I learned on a Lincoln arc welder decades ago.  Been using a Millermatic 200 since the mid 90's.  Built lots of projects with it.  Really want a tig welder.  All in good time.

I'm blessed with a 3 car attached.  Susan keeps her daily driver and two play toys there (2005 Mazda RX-8 Shinka and a 68 Camaro SS I've been building on for years for her).  I wanted her to have the garage to herself while I have the doghouse (shop).
