hey I installed a new brake chamber today, rear front brake. I cut the rod to the right length, mounted everything and when I had somebody press on the brake the slack adjuster tried pushing the pushrod but the push rod will not move. he red line on the bottom is still exposed and this thing justr doe not want to go in..?  i will check tomorrow if the lines are reversed but i put them in the same way as i took the old one out. any help would be great thanks again

you need 60 psi or better to release the (retract) the park brake spring, then the rod should retract into the lower chamber(making the red area) go away. if that does not happen you may have went the wrong way when adjusting the slack adjuster and have it  (locked in the released position)  remove the clevis pin and release the park brake and let us know if the rod traveled into the can.
