only reference i have ever seen for them was with a 195 HP or a 220 HP V8 gas engine.

Cummins JT-6 175 h.p. diesel optional.

Walton P Davis Movers had 2 AC-603 COE's one a gas and one diesel. Gasser got about 1 MPG. They traded them in for I.H.'s

Very cool! So ugly it's nice to look at. One piece windshield, probably not bad to drive at all. What's the "V-63"?

Very nice. What's the V-63 mean?

It's a model designation. V-63, V-603, AC-603 , 63" cab style, wheelbase, single or tandem, engine type.

An example is a AC-603 = 115 wheelbase, short cab and Golden Comet 235 h.p. V-8

V-63 same as 603 except the Golden Comet 160 h.p. six cylinder

Met an old milk hauler from S. Wisconsin that was displaying his at the Rock River Thresheree(Edgerton,Wis.),a few years back. He had bought it new. I think his name was Ralph Schroeder. He was very proud of the old girl and had lots of stories. Unfortunately, he passed on by time the next show came around. I will have to look through my "bale" of old truck pics, and see if I took one of his truck. Al

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA
