Part # is 20qe2211

Mack says its no longer available

Opens the cowl vent on my Superliner for fresh air intake.

Has 12v and air running to it.... but will not open.

I mangled it.

Any suggestions?

I REALLY Really hate hearing from my Mack parts department that things are "Not even in the system any longer"

Many thanks

Love the site

Ron

See if a company like Vintage Air has something close. Similar type actuators are / were used in Auto HVAC systems.

Most hot rod suppliers have these. I used this one on my 1941 Chevy.

Leave it closed, all the dust comes in and clogs up the condensor and the heater core, like Mike said if you really want it opened make a little block to fit, I have mine unhooked on my 2000 rd, maybe I will sell it to you, sounds like I have a piece of gold on my Mack, it does work and is not Very old, I leave it unhooked cause when it opened up it looked like the lid was going to fly away, too much force on the plastic lol!

Got a hot lead on a company called "Bimba" that think they can set me up with the actuator.... only have to make a slight modification by remotely locating electric solenoid. Best part is the price. $22 for the cylinder!

When i get the part/model #'s all hammered out, I'll be sure to share with you folks who want to get your actuator "actuating"

I'm a stickler on things being correct.
