Mack Bulldog Magazine Now Available on Android

GREENSBORO, NC – Mack Trucks’ popular Bulldog Magazine is now available for readers on Android devices such as smart phones and tablets thanks to a new Android app Mack launched for download through Google Play. The free app allows Android users to access current and past issues of the quarterly magazine. Bulldog Magazine, published since February 1920, keeps customers, dealers, collectors, employees, retirees and fans up to date with industry trends and company news. With a free circulation of 45,000, Bulldog Magazine is among the oldest corporate publications in the U.S. and has avid subscribers around the world. The magazine’s release for the Android operating system makes the publication accessible through the two major mobile operating systems. Bulldog Magazine is already available for iPhone and iPad users through iTunes.

“As our society relies more and more on mobile devices to keep us up to date, Mack wanted to make sure our Bulldog Magazine was easily accessible, regardless of whether readers are long-time subscribers or new Mack fans discovering the magazine for the first time online,” said John Walsh, Mack vice president of marketing.

Does Mack still offer a downloadable PDF for us "old timers"?

NO :(

The MACK site makes no reference to Bulldog mag at all. I got my info on Bulldog magazine by e mailing customer service directly. Paul

They just don't promote it on the web site. Truck specs have been dropped and replaced by a sales brochure except for the Titan. It must be a Volvo thing as their web site

is void of spec sheets also as I remember,

Truck specs are there but you have to select model (Titan, Granite etc) look for the "download for the catalog" The New MACK site is NOT sales friendly.

  • 2 weeks later...

Camelback is still available, got a friend with 4 new Granites, the first had M-Ride like all the other stock units but they couldnt keep em together and they were killing tires so they went back to Camelback, its one of the few real Mack components left.

WTF no more camelback ?? The const book says there is

It's interesting that the new Mack website only mentions the Twin-Y air suspension (a.k.a Volvo Blade Air Suspension) and mRIDE (a.k.a. Volvo T-Ride). No mention of the former Mack's camelback suspension (which isn't by accident).

The Twin-Y air suspension (a.k.a Volvo Blade Air Suspension) is a sales disaster. Volvo can't give them away. Volvo wouldn't even consider using it in the global market. They get sound engineering there in the form of the Volvo RADD-GR and RADD-G2 (on-highway), and GRAS-G2 (vocational).

Exactly, it says "Click here for the most recent issue", and you get volume 3 of year 2013. Oh yeah, they're on the ball at Volvo headquarters in Greensboro.

Like customer service told me. Get the Bull Dog app for the I phone or Kindle or miss the magazine. Paul
