bbigrig Posted May 1, 2014 Share Posted May 1, 2014 Besides all of the Mack controlled reasons as to why the Bulldog is chrome or gold....It was an available option. The Dealer could order it or leave it chrome. Our '97 CH with both Eaton axles and Fuller trans was ordered with a Gold Dog just because we wanted it. '96 CL elite has all mack components has all dogs gold along with my '01CL elite. Ordered a new Titan all "mack" components..... We'll see what that has.
