Mike D,

Tell us more about "Big Muskie"!!! Did you build that is it plastic, or diecast? When I was a kid my father took me to Ohio and I was able to watch it operate. Awesome machine! All that is left is a bucket at a park I think.

Thanks,

Brent

Found this on a model truck website and thought it was worthwhile posting, someones interpretation of a "what if" truck, what if Mack had used to Budd cab to build a two story Falcon like Ford did? might have looked something like this? Wonder what it would have been called?.......................................Mark

That last pic looks a little large for first gear, looks like a brudee cab on some custom frame with a custom trailer

Was looking for some R model related parts on ebay the other day when this pops up........I start thinking,"where have I seen that truck before?" Guess First Gear just introduced it in 1/64th scale. The royalties should be in my mailbox any minute now! :loldude:

Hi Al, I ended up buying one of these and the CASE/IH unit as well! Wasn't going to, I thought they were a bit rich on the price. I thought if I'm going to get one I've gotta get the one like your BCR, it's a cool looking rig, Mick

In my travels a little while ago, I came across this amazing model? toy? Im not sure what to call it. Unfortunately I never thought to see who it was made by or what scale it was.

I was too busy looking at the detail , and thinking "I need pics of this"

What an awesome B model! I have an original Smith Miller wrecker I got when I was 6. Someone bought the nos. components and possibly the tooling! You can buy parts for old toys and new complete trucks and rigs. LJ B and Kenworth Cabover are available. Also an Autocar looking conventional. My wrecker resembles an Autocar Autocar. The new trucks are very pricey, start at about 1100.00!

57 Bcr, it sure does look like they used your R for a model!

I'm not sayin' they did Billy, but it's damn close. It's alright. About as close to fame as this guy will ever get! I'll take it!   Al

IF YOU BOUGHT IT, A TRUCK BROUGHT IT..AND WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH IT, A TRUCK WILL HAUL IT AWAY!!! Big John Trimble,WRVA
