Brockway "Toughest Truck In The World"

There was a dealer in both Turkey and Iran, in 75 I believe, there was an order placed for 500+ trucks for Brockway Iran...have seen articles on this in old Brockcasters....

the dealer from Turkey came over and toured the plant in one issue...

Out behind the bar,you put a pop case between the buckets,and fold up a moving pad,very integral! If you're from beaver falls,you know  what "pop" is! When I hauled Delco batteries,I used to deliver to a parts store in beaver falls,forget the name.when I was in the towing business, I sold a couple wrecks to the salvage yard there,owned by the Rogoff family.Brings back some memories.That's a sharp Brockway!

Love the stance and look of it.    It does look on the rough side, but it would definatly look really good on the road.

First big truck I ever rode in was a Brockway like that! 250 Cummins 15 speed "bogie" Lake Shore Transportation out of the Pittsburg terminal.

Me too my uncle hadda whole fleet first ride somewhere around 1960...bob
