Recommended Posts

m16ty, I think you were bidding against Mr. Tackaberry, a very hard thing to do!

Yep, I believe that's the truck.

It was a very nice truck. I've known it since I was a kid.

I've seen it haul 300 tons.

Out behind the bar,you put a pop case between the buckets, and fold up a moving pad, very integral! If you're from beaver falls, you know  what "pop" is! When I hauled Delco batteries,I used to deliver to a parts store in beaver falls, forget the name.when I was in the towing business, I sold a couple wrecks to the salvage yard there, owned by the Rogoff family.Brings back some memories. That's a sharp Brockway!

gotta say  Tacks Brock is a sharp truck but I think it looked better orange and black with black steel buds on the front, just my opinion

Love those Brockway axle forwards. Karma caught up with Mack for dumping Brockway the way they did.

The first 18 wheeler I ever rode in was a Brockway! Had a three piece windshield and the fenders that swung out  May have been a 358.

Very sad, but prob true.    Just shows how disrespectful  people really are.

I liked how the fenders swung out of the way on the two triaxels i drove. If i had too much fun on wed. night that 318 really got my head pounding on Thursday.

First big truck I ever rode in was a Brockway like that! 250 Cummins 15 speed "bogie" Lake Shore Transportation out of the Pittsburg terminal.
