Superdog 5,906 Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Heard about it,but haven't seen it,it's supposed to be up by Waterloo somewhere,supposed to be a big M series off highway truck there too.If they are only asking 10k for the AC,it won't last long. Was used daily until mid 50's and as yard crane until about 1962, it was then sold to a Westchester contractor who used it on sewer jobs for several more years. He had it on display at his yard in Federal Way,Wa. and around Christmas every year,he would hang a Santa Claus from it! I believe it was a cover truck on the W O T,in the '80's. I read through the article but no real details on the crane other than setting it up with Christmas lights and display. 1 Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
