Polillio's Autocar tractor. Working show truck
This is for sale on craigslist. Truck looks good, but frame is split/cracked from what I understand.
Thats a nice setup with the single axle i cant believe how small the dump trailers were back then , it looks like a fifteen yarder
Saw this 66 Autocar from Michigan at the 2005 ATHS show in Auburn IN.
Saw this A-car at Louisville a few years back.
I took some pics of that very same truck at MATS.............................Mark
I always liked the A-Cars esp. the ones we had at colonial! I had a new 1978 DC9964U off set snub nose PT 290 with a 955LL trans it was the best mixer I ever drove untill they gave me a new DM600 285 Maxi with a 6 speed 11 yd MTM mixer! I drove that for about 6months just before i left to go out on my own, the mack hands down was a better truck all around, it did what ever you asked it to do plus plenty a power and a good top speed
For Sale BTW
Paul's trucking natick ma
Picture of a picture from a calendar made for Polillio
Another one from Gerbil.
John Mauros Autocar again just another pic that Gerbil had and I will repost mine to make set. Mark has the best pic of it when it was green and black.
i like the b 81 he owned the best
Bobby Capello from Mahwah has it now. It sits in his ranch house garage with his green LJ dump. You would never know there are two big dumps in there.
One of the CLEANEST real working trucks I ever saw!.............................Mark
