smorse54 Posted December 4, 2012 Author Share Posted December 4, 2012 The truck is finally finished and returned to duty.It was test driven,all hoses retightened, exhaust manifold retorqued. Good to go.The shutters came from Phil at Global,Nice set,thanks Phil. Maddog13407 Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 anyone know if they make a single inlet paper type thats the short style like the old R model? puttin a 300+ in a 66 r model and right now i have the twin inlet air cleaner on it but the removeable top but its junk. would like to put a hood scoop on it with a single element dry type short air cleaner. bulldogboy Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Pumper 316 looks great; nice job on the rebuild. It should last for quite a few years more then settle into retirement as a parade piece. Looks like the body was replaced at one time; it appears to be a Ranger body. That's not unusual, most 1970s fire truck bodies rusted away and had to be replaced.
