Would like to Know Year of my Mack

Recommended Posts

I have a Mack Model EF serial number EF 1 D 1358. I think it is in the late 30's or early 40's but not sure. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am also in need of some parts like a door latch and maybe some nice gauges. Also would like any info about the motor?

Thanks again.

I'd guess '38 or '39,send your VIN to the Mack museum and they'll give you the exact build date.

She looks a bit crusty but mostly there. Good luck on the restoration.

Thanks Guys,

I found out that the Mack was ordered and devliverd on October 14th 1939. Yup that is a hand crank. Motor is set up but we have stripped her down already and making her into a rat rod. Going to use the cab, we chopped it 4 inches and going to use the grill side shields and gauges. I am in need of a door latch for the drivers side if anyone knows where i can get on.

Yeah it was. We tried selling it for 995 but nobody wanted it....so rather than go to the scrap yard we decided to revive her!!!
