Hi

My name is David Frederick, 34 for Northeast PA. I operate www.convoytm.com which is based for the 1978 movie and 1976 song by CW McCall.

Does anyone remember this model truck which was the front tanker truck driven by Kris Kristofferson in the movie. The truck(s) was supplied by Bruhn Trucking (John and Frank Bruhn), I talked to John months ago, he was 14 when movie was filmed.

Hi David, The truck that Kristofferson drove was a Mack R-700. If you are interested the movie is available on DVD. Good luck, Ronnie

Hi dave. There were a few trucks used, the main truck was a 1977,78 RS700L powered by a 285 tip turbine with a 10 or 12 speed. it had a 60" ablebody sleeper the other truck(s) were R700s with simmilar setup.

look in my photo album for pics of my RS700L
