Connecticut Construction Trucks

McClure RD # 95 is also ex Rawson. Rawson used to have a bunch of CL's and a couple of vision tractors Red and black. Before that they had some R dumps pulling pup dump trailers(odd for CT). Towards the end of the Mack era they had a few red and black Granites and one light blue Granite. :bulldog1:

those pups came from O&G

No unfortunately not but Tim is working for toce bros tire and Martin is working at a ski area in mass

OK. Sort of figured. Back a few days (25 years ago), they had some nice R models. It made an interesting picture to have the rail yard right next to a fairway at the country club!

Jim

It doesn't cost anything to pay attention.

Probably going to use different boxes for the type of response they are making. We used a system like this with one box dedicated to carrying cribbing/shoring, another for communications, logistics, etc. It saves on the truck cost, but can really slow you down when you need more than one box right now.

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!

Saw one of H.I. Stone's R-models cleaned up and running trailerless through Hartford yesterday. Tilcon had one of their CHs delivering barriers to the staging yard on Rt. 2 in Glastonbury today. Also saw one of the RD triaxles getting a ride on a lowboy...hope they aren't dumping them yet.

Saw a sharp red CL dump on 95 yesterday. The funny thing about it was that it said Dattco on the door with Dattco mud flaps.

Is this the same as Dattco as the bus company. The logo looked the same. Also saw a new axle back Granite dump for Hanes.

Good to see they are buying Macks again. They used to have CL's and RD's before buying T800's. :)
