Air Horns - What Are Your Recommendations

Recommended Posts

Fellow Truckers,

My brothers and I, are looking to purchase a set of Air Horns for our Dad (for Christmas)

He has a 2004 crew-cab Ford F250. The stock horn is so whimpy for the size of vehicle that it is.

We have purchased an electric air compressor which will be mounted between the frame rails.

I believe it is rated for 100psi, it was originally an electric pancake compressor for a nail gun.

We are looking for a big truck sound from the air horns.

What is a good place to buy these horns, and what do you guys recommend?

Thanks,

Chris

Both Grover, and Hadley have been OEM suppliers for big trucks for years. Always available at most truck stores or ebay, craigslist, etc.

If you have a Mack dealership that treats you right you might be able to order that part through them, since Hadley is a Mack vendor. You might be able to get it a bit cheaper than from other outlets.

IOWA80.com has a big selection of horns at good prices. Many styles and good folks to deal with too.
