All - Barn-found B-42 single-axle dump for sale on Craigslist - decent shape, but seems overpriced at $8K. If you need me to do recon, let me know this is about 10 minutes from where I live. No connection otherwise. Perkasie, PA is in Bucks County, just south of Quakertown. Thanks, Brad http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/5267054106.html

Two B's are on eBay; Sweet Valley is northwest of Allentown (closer to Scranton). Seems like good metal, and an owner who doesn't know what year they are. No connection to me. Caught this Granite from Storto Asphalte last month on a paving job in my neighborhood. PS: My apologies for the natural light and the odd angles but I couldn't get any more room (I was against a fence...). They were paving closeby (very...) so, it was that or pretty much nothing ;-)© Christophe Culis

Hve a 91 RD686 Mack Dump and developing a problem with the AIr.. It was changed to the 134a system while back by Mack and worked so so ever since but want to get prepared to maybe make it work little better .. seems to cycle a lot and not as cold. I did a vac of the system and reloaded it and seems better but it almost as if its not at it full potential I've included some pics of the compressor , dryer, switch on the dryer but where is the orifice tube at? is it in this block going into the firewall? How often should the compressor turn on for then off for? I do have the gauges , vac and tools to fix it..

Hello everyone. New to This forum, but have read many posts. Anyway, I have a 2000 Mack RD688 Dump Truck. 12 speed TRTXL-1070B Trans. This month I replaced the dump box, any all accerories, cylinder, pump, pto, etc. My old setup had had teh rear(botton mount mack pto with remote mount pump. Which I want direct mount( alot less worries). First Chelsea Sent me a 489 series pto. Wont fit since there is a bulge in the trnas. So they then sent me a 442 series with a 628 series Adapter gear to clear the transmission bulge. Well the problem is now, that with only 1 gasket, the gear adapter has about a 1/4" play in it( so much for getting the blacklash right). OK, then when I put the pto up to the gear adapter, using there spacer and 6 gaskets that are required, I dont have enough backlash. ( under the ercommended). Problem #3, is since I spread rock in 2nd gear, the pump is not turned fast enough. takes minute and a half to raise. Way to slow. By the way I thought it said it was a 127% PTO. unless its in fifth gear, then it raises fine. But I dont spread rock at 50 MPH. Plus it seems to whine anything about idle in 3rd gear. What I am wondering, is if they9 Chealsea) know what there doing and also do they make a mack rear PTO that is direct drive? Any info would be VERY helpful, Thanks
