  1. Hello, I need to flip 8 22.5 tires from one trick to another. Being short of money! Which type of tool-bar works best? Thanks Ray
  2. I have a float with tube type 10.00X15 tires on it I would like to switch tires and rims to radials but the tire man here tells me I cant get them anymore. If anyone has any info or has some I would be much obliged.
  3. hey guys im looking for five 11.00 24 truck tires with good casings that's really all im worried about the tread can be bad , as long as the casings are good
  4. Hello all, Got a quick question for you to take a stab at. What is the difference between the Goodyear G177 11.00R X 22 and Goodyear G377 11.00R X 22 tires. It appears that they have identical tread pattern. Are both of these tires still in production? Is there in fact a difference between them? Let me know. CJ
  5. I still need 2 good used 11R22.5 steer axle tires. I don't want new ones, since they will dry-rot long before I'll ever wear them out. Not worth the money. Prefer a matched set with maybe 50% tread life left on them. Probably okay with G (12 ply) rating, since I don't haul anything on this thing. Most importantly, I want sound, not abused tires that are nice and round. Only ones I have found locally have been severely cupped-out, or cut-up, or had the beads destroyed from dismounting. Anybody in the region got any...or a good source for them??? Thanks, Kent p.s.: I have a few odds and ends (Dayton wheels, etc...) I can offer for part of the deal...if anybody wants them.
  6. I have 7 tires 6 on rims, all good highway tread Bandag recaps, these came off a trailer dump we scrapped. The tires are in Framingham MA, I will sell each or as a lot, Make me an offer.
  7. Have tires. Need different ones. Mix of 10.00-20 & 11-22.5. 6 are caps. 1 has loose cap. On mix of rims. Pictures show 8 drive tires & 2 steer tires. Rims are 20 x 7.5 & 20 x 8 & 22.5 x 7.5 & 22.5 x 8.25. All Daytons. Like I said...a mix. 5 are 20" tube-type, 5 are 22.5" tubeless. All I want are 2 super-nice 11 R 22.5 steer tires...or enough cash to buy 2! Prefer on 22.5 x 8.25 Daytons. Can give more info & pics as needed. Steer tires are still on truck.
  8. Yessir, I bought 2 used steer tires from David, and couldn't be happier. He held the tires for me for weeks until I could get to Raleigh to pick them up. When I offered to send a check for them he said "no, wait until you look at them before you pay me". He's what you call "a class act".
  9. I've got a 1987 Superliner with 14/80r20 steer tires- I finally found a tire shop who could get them for me today, but I think $850 a tire is a little expensive. What other options that would make $ense are there, (adapters, simple conversions, etc.) I know I'm not the only one who has had to deal with this. Thanks P.S. They are on dayton wheels, and I need to keep the load rating j (18 ply 9000#)
