  1. I'm parting out what is left of an 88 RD688S that I bought for the engine. I've got pictures of a few of the items but it you want better pictures or have questions please call or text 814-449-9264. front complete 18,000# axle with springs - $250 steering box - $100 80 gallon steel left and right fuel tanks, they are newer - $200 each 8LL transmission, I assume RTXF1490 as it was behind an E6 350 but might be an 1190 as there isn't a tag anymore - $250 PTO for driving a winch, this was an old oil field truck, its mechanically operated $100 Radiator - it holds water and is in pretty good shape, the fins at the bottom are corroded some - $150 Charge Air Cooler - held 30 psi when I pressure checked it, one lower mounting tab is broken off - $50 Most everything in the cab is in good shape, it has a carpet floor that should clean up good or would be a good template to copy, the seats are in good shape, the headliner and door covers are pretty good - tell me what you want and make an offer. Front bumper - its heavy, its got just a small amount of rust where it mounts but is overall in good shape - $450

  4. 1984 R685T single axle tractor EM6 250 with Mack 5 spd. & 4.00 rear ratio. The Good: Injection Pump completely rebuilt along with injectors in 2014 (no miles drive since). Have all parts to put back together (Radiator, CAC recently cleaned, and air cleaner). The truck can be started and moved under its own power. Power steering and AC (not connected), and Budd rims all the way around. Have good title. The Bad: Will need replacement steering axle (bushing wore out and oval’d the top part of the axle on drivers side only (above the king pin). Trucks runs great once started….just doesn’t like cold day starts. $3200.00 or possible trades (tell me what you have) Truck is located in Maryland Call Doug at 301-573-4693 after 4pm through week, or anytime on the weekend. SUPERLINER IS NOT FOR SALE
  5. With absolute regret I have to put the General up for sale. 6 Months ago my boss retired and I found myself unemployed. I started my own thing over the last 5 months and now I am officially a business. With this comes more responsibility and expenses. Unfortunately this means a few of the "extra" toys have to go. This being one of them. I am sad and sick in the stomach to put the General up for sale. My main goal was to get it road worthy and bring it to Macungie. I never got to take it to any show. Which is why the decision was made to put it up for sale. The specs: 1984 GMC General 5-Star Silver 8v92 Detroit Diesel 13-Speed Roadranger 12k Front Axle 38k Rear Axle 4.10 Gears Rayco Suspension Power Diverter PTO and Wetline Kit Power Steering Factory A/C - Needs work Air Ride Drivers Seat AM/FM Radio Extra Hood New Fuel Pump in Sept 2015, 4 New Battery's in 2013, New Kysor Valve, New taillights, Clutch Brake also replaced less than 100 miles ago, Just serviced - filters, oil, lube, drive belts. etc. $Thousands invested! Runs like a beast. Asking $8,500 obo Parked in Farmingdale NJ (Monmouth Co) I have videos on YouTube and a whole thread on this truck on the site as well.

  8. Got some extra pieces that I don't need. Cowl, dash, doors, also have cab sub frame not pictured. Doors need a little work, rest of the parts are very nice. Make offer. Like to sell as 1 lot.
  9. When I recently bought my B-Model, it came with a NOS Hendrickson R-Model bumper that he was going to install on the B-Model, but I am not. As far as I can tell, it has not been mounted on a truck. They guy I got it from says he bought it after he got the truck, and left it in his barn for 7-8 years. All the chrome looks great, and there is a touch of surface rust on the un-chromed back side, as you can see in the picture. Looks like these sell for about $350 new. I'd be happy with $200. It's in southern RI. I do have access to a shipping dock, and if it needs to be shipped, I will pallet it, and you can make the truck arrangements. I guess you can IM me if you're interested, or my e-mail is jeeprider01@yahoo.com. Thanks - Mike
  10. I'm looking to sell this cab it was from a b30 I started modifying the driver side floor to the b81 style floor it can be changed back to the flat style. The floor was rotted out on the driver side before I cut it out so I didn't ruin a good cab by doing this. The rest of the floor is just about perfect and still has green paint, the passenger side rocker is nice and straight. The driver side rocker and the area below the air vent needs some work. The back panel of this cab took a beating and would probably need to be replaced. The roof has a few small dents. The areas around the windshield where these cabs are known to rot are perfect and same with the fire wall. I'm asking 500 for the cab
  11. I was sorting thru some boxes looking for some other parts and I found 2 sets of emblems for a RS700L. One pair is good shape, other pair has a broken stud on each one. I'm going to keep one pair, don't matter which, make me an offer.

  20. Howdy all! Up for sale is 'Mater. With gracious help from members here we have identified this wonderful dump truck as a 1964 B-61 SX. It has a tandem axle and is a diesel. The "S" indicates the tandem axle and "X" indicates the extreme load capacity. The frame is in excellent condition as is the ceiling in the cab. There's a 2' oak piece in the frame that is also in excellent condition. Mater runs beautifully, he fires right up and is ready for a new home. I bought him as a work/yard truck and don't envision any more projects with him. Please, please do not buy him for scrap! This is not an 'on-road' truck at the moment but is worth restoring if that's your intended goal. (and I kind of hope it is). The serial number is 48339, I do not have a title. The body is in generally good shape, I believe someone started restoring him before I picked him up. I've had fluids changed and the piston rebuilt by a local heavy equipment mechanic but the piston does still leak. The drivers seat is in terrible condition (I use a sheet so the coils don't poke my butt!) Selling for $3,000.00. We are located in Chesterfield, Massachusetts. You can reach me at 413-six95-nine667. My name is Barb. Sorry for the re-post; the original buyer fell through. We'd like to move 'Mater before the snow really starts flying. IMG_2707.MOV
