  1. Can anyone tell me what the speed ratio's are on a Mack T2070 transmission for reverse on up. I have a customer changing it to a T2080 and wants to know what the difference is. Thanks for the help please.
  2. Mack quadruplex, 20/18 speed, transmission, NOS, stampedTRQ7220, 1P1173, 11KBA5648, AP61 (Left side), BAKB 8122A, casting date: 7/1/66, Right Side. My father was a Mack engineer and got this transmission directly out of Mack's Hagerstown plant for a Mack he owned. It has been garage kept. He got this in the early 1980's. This is a New Old Stock transmission. It is located in Charlotte, ME 04666 Customer pick up only. We have a loader to assist with loading. $750 If you have any questions, call my cell at 717-215-2814. Thanks, Les

  6. Hello we have a 2009 Mack Granite with an Allison 4500RDS. When we start the truck it initially runs fine for 10-15 seconds then the wrench in our push button shift selector comes on for a bit. It then goes out and eventually the truck tries to jump into gear from neutral then goes back into neutral repeatedly. Around this time we have a relay somewhere clicking repeatedly for a bit. Eventually we get "Cateyes" in the push button selector on the dash then we get the mode red light on that same selector to come on. We can't move the truck anywhere after so we turn it off for a bit then restart it and it does the same thing. We have played with most of the connections and they all seem fine. We can't seem to find any breaks or kinks in the wiring anywhere that deals with the transmission. We also get a P0880 code on the push button selector which also triggers multiple codes on the dash. The codes on the dash are saying intermittent data readings. Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't know if it should be electrical or this one. Thanks in advance, Lawrence

  8. I own a 2000 Mack Cl 713 with an 18 spd transmission, since last week the weather has been really cold in Massachusetts and after I warm it up and decide to drive off the transmission makes a weird (like grinding) sound and doesn't take the gears, sometimes I'm able to place the gear but It won't drive (with the gear on it's like it was still in neutral), at the end after a couple of tries and lots of patience I am able to drive off by playing with it, But when I am loaded it is a real Odyssey, today I wasn't able to even work 'cause It wouldn't take any gears when loaded. Any HELP would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  9. Need a shift pattern plate (diagram) for a TRQ-720 trans.Doesn't have to be new, just decent & readable.PM me if you have one you would like to sell. Thanks..........Al
  10. Mack transmission, Tetapiod gears $500, Spicer $500 541-912-2549
  11. My neighbor has a 3 speed Brown Lippe Aux transmission. I dont have a use for it so I told him I'd see if anyone else does. He wants $500 for it. I have no idea what its worth. It has a 50% underdrive, and a 30% overdrive, Direct and Neutral. Located in Central Washington State.
  12. I'm having a hard time shifting into the 2nd position in my trans. I've narrowed it down to the rear section, is it possible to just pull the rear section of the trans or do I need to drop the whole trans?
  13. Any tips, pointers, ideas or learning experiences to share? This truck belongs to a customer of mine, (he just bought it) he wants to get rid of the "15 speed triplex" and put in a 7 or 9 speed, also this truck has the double reduction rear end. he claims it will not exceed 45mph on the highway. it was in a barn for 17yrs and only has 39,000 miles on the odometer, beleive it or not the truck really does only look like it has 39,000! hope to hear from you all soon. thanks, Allen.
  14. I would like to get more road speed and lower my rpm's. I have a '82 R Model with 3.65 rears and a 5 speed transmission. According to the speedometer it is running 62 to 65 at 2000 rpm's. Which transmission could I put in it to get more road speed at lower rpm's. I would like to run 70-75 at 1500 rpm's. Also I need a low hole to start off on a hill loaded 80,000+. I'm asking the experts on this one. Thanks.
  15. I am looking to buy a '65 B-61 that the man says has a Maxidyne 283 with a 9 speed on a 244" WB single rear air ride axle and a 60" bunk. He used it as a 'hot shot' truck and it looks pretty good in the pictures he sent. He's asking $12K for a nearly road ready truck. ( interior needs a little work ) I would use it as a show truck and probably pull a 5th wheel camper. My concerns are the 2 sticks ( he said it's a Roadranger tranny ) and I don't know anything about this engine. I'm hoping some of you veterens on here can give me so insight and info. Thanks, Mike
