Up until a few years ago, they did still have a few running around.

All of their trucks have (that I've seen), have regular Fuller 10 speeds. They have one pre-emissions Pinnacle (CXP613) with a 9-speed.

They do have a very sharp paint scheme. Here's a bit of a timeline of their purchases over the last several years.
2007 Mack Visions
2009 Freightliner Columbias
2012 Mack Pinnacles (order of 10)
2013 Freightliner Cascadias (order of 10-12)
2014 Mack Pinnacles (order of 10)

They are planning on making the M-drive available on the Granites when the contract with Allison to supply auto transmissions for the vocational models expires. The M-drive/I -shift trans is available on the VHD vocational truck. Its a matter of time before its offered in the Granites..
I heard recently that Mack just renewed their contract with Allison.

Haha, I was just thinking about that today, I haven't been down there since late last year. Now that the weather is warming up, I think a trip is in order.

Love those yellow Granites!!
ABF Freight is starting to sell off their older Sterlings, making them predominantly Mack, aside from a few FL Cascadias. Ulch Transport of St. Marys, ON is all Mack as far as I know. Sharkey Transportation is mostly Mack, aside from a few IH ProStars.

Welcome from a fellow NEPA'er! I'm from over near Scranton though.

Nice trucks indeed!

Very cool trucks!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Guess what, next year 2-3 guys wearing a strange cloth made hat in a tired f***liner will cut the rates and get the job!
Mack's been doing it for quite a few years now. I think they "donate" the truck for hauling the tree, then remove the graphics and sell the truck when it's completed it's mission.

I found three of the tri-axles at J&J this summer. As vcheck said, they have Allison autos.

Is that fire truck a Granite MHD? The way the emissions equipment is packaged looks like how they do it on the MHD's.

Thanks for sharing 3P! Always love hearing about big Mack orders. You didn't happen to snag any pics of those Pinnacle straight truck chassis in the background did you?

I'm registered and planning on going. This'll be my first Trucktoberfest, I enjoyed seeing the photos from last years show, it looked like a fun time.

Wow! Very cool! I didn't know they still made the belt versions. There is only one belt mixer in my area that I know of, and it's on an old CCC one man cab chassis.

Awesome! Love the Rawhide!

No, not really. Those familiar with the former Mack spec sheets can tell you that the minimalist information now shown on the website is far from what the industry standard spec sheets had. This minimalist information direction is signature Volvo.
Ahh ok. I'm only familiar with the ones that were on there from the previous website design, so I only had those to compare too.
I hear you. But thinking of on-road LTL operators, and the falling availability of skilled truckdrivers, the application for the bullet-proof Maxidyne-Maxitorque 5-speed concept remains bright.
Mack actually built a few Pinnacle demo trucks around 2008/2009 with the Maxitourqe 6 speed for companies to test out, as I remember reading the articles about them. I guess the promoting didn't help as shortly after that the 6 speed was dropped from the line. It must have been their last stitch effort to see if anyone was still interested in that type of trans.
Any Mack Titan?

That is one awesome looking milk truck! Those Titan log trucks look sweet as well.
