  1. Show was 20-21 Sept. at Howard Trucking Fairborne OH.
  2. Really liked the Autocar . Thanks for sharing .
  3. Correct it was a smaller place when I was there in 2013 . Now it is a boom town with rent and house prices almost triple . A lot of people moving in from Texas and California I hear .
  4. Went to visit my son who lives there .Tried to enter captions. Even with H67 and Other dogs help still had trouble . Will list captions in order of photos. Blue Bird bus motor home, airplane on a pickup, GMC at work, old dumps, diner advertisement, plastic strips to check if wheels are frozen, reclaimed lumber& log cabins for sale,Volvo loaded with beets I think, wind turbine, and dump with trailer in mountains .
  5. Nothing like a dog for company . I like German Shepards or dogs about that size.
  6. Great pictures. Like HarryS said "next best thing to to being there". Have a question. The on the picture of the F model the cap on the air cleaner pipe is offset towards the cab . I wondered why the offset on these. I thought may be for clearance when raising the cab. This picture kills that theory. I have not been able to raise the cab on my F model so still wondering. Anyone have any insight on this.
  7. Someone here was having one done by D&D Automobilia and was going to report back with the results . I never read any more about it .
  8. I went thru there as a short cut from I 40 To I 25 South . A rail town that has dried up .
  9. My pictures do not turn out as good as other dogs . Still do not know how to put captions under them. Would like to attend the other dog school of photography but can not afford the tuition. Maybe a student loan.
  10. A few years ago I rode on a short trip in a series of cars pulled by the 611 . It was amazing the power it had would pull you back in your seat on start up .
  11. Yes it was built for the military . Posted here 4/26/2016 GSA auctions . Sold for $1625 I think . I am trying to get the details from the Mack Museum . Thanks all .
  12. After finishing my B 61 I started looking for a new project . Wanted an H model but could not find what I wanted although Superdog had one I thought was priced right but needed more work than I wanted to get into. Raybing posted a F 797 from Craigslist a few months back. Thanks Raybing . The truck was located in Missoula MT. at a Mack dealership. I called with no intent to buy . The salesman asked what I was thinking so I thru out price not expecting to be accepted . A few hours later he called back and accepted my offer . Had the truck delivered to New Mexico. I think I am over my head again as there is lot of things on the truck I am not sure about . I am sure there will be a lot of help here as always .
  13. Just read on article on clear coating paint and minor surface rust . The author used Zepp high traffic floor coating three or four coats . The pictures looked good .
  14. I have heard of this being done for older gas and diesel engines to help lubricate things .
  15. I got a quote from Gulfway and Hagerty. Hagerty was the the cheapest for me with 200 miles and $25000.
  16. Glad to hear at least one has survived . I would guess the main difference between the B 86 and the rest of the B 80 series would the engine .
  17. Do not know where you are located but I have a pair right one is very good the other is fixable. $150 for the pair . Located in South West Ohio .
  18. I wonder if any of the B 86 trucks survived . Always wondered how they were powered . 354 Hemi V8 neat . Wish I had one .
  19. Welcome . Pictures would be good .
