  1. I am sorry I missed it, I get there when I can, this year just didn't work out. I was doing show and work related stuff. We had to determine the directors choice truck and make the presentation. I also assisted D.A. Strickland get his LTL to the Mack Trucks Historical Museum about that time.
  2. Mud on the pole? I don't think it was that kind of gathering...
  3. Ken, you should have stayed longer at the show, you could have driven back today and kept everything nice and clean. It never did rain at the park until after 11pm. I am glad you had a good time. I'll see you at the next one.
  4. Thursday night, 7:00pm. There will be a meeting of the BMT hierarchy in conjunction with the ATCA Truckin' Nuts. The purpose of the meeting is to review the assets that are before us and determine the best method of utilizing them to their fullest potential. Both of the organizations are dedicated to holding the assets until the time that they matured enough that their growth has benefited all parties involved. We look forward to a wonderful evening of entertainment and trust that all of our representatives will be on their best behavior, or at least fully clothed. If you would care to acknowledge your attendance, it would be greatly appreciated. The Management
  5. Bring her along! The more the merrier. I have reservations under "Doug" at 7:00. Maybe she will take a liking to one of our BMT crew.
  6. Everything is looking good. The field is lined, the ground is solid and the trucks are lined up. It is looking to be a great show.
  7. I guess I'll have to stop at the Kilt in order to reserve the room. Maybe Ron and I will go for lunch on Wednesday, are you available Randy?
  8. Hear Ye, Here Ye. As an official board member of the ATCA, I declare the Thursday before father's day an official ATCA holiday. I fully intend to offer my support to the wonderful young ladies that are sharing their talents with my fellow antique truck enthusiasts for our enjoyment. The day shall be named by the group of attendees with assistance from the young ladies at the celebration on Thursday June 18. So it is said, this day, the 29th of May on the year 2015.
  9. Wait for three weeks and then come east to Macungie.
  10. Five on the show circuit? Photos please, I thought I was the only one that dared to take one out!
  11. I would certainly like to take at least one truck. My schedule and finances will make the final determination that week. I would have liked to be there from Wednesday on but my daughters final dance recitals on Friday and Saturday night take priority. I may drop a truck off and come back to pick it up on Sunday.
  12. Curtiss-Wright had a facility in central PA in the mid-fifties. They constructed a company town for the executives and employees. My family worked on construction of the town and I was raised there after my parents bought one of the houses after Curtiss-Wright moved out. Curtiss-Wright was a very interesting company and they influenced many technologies over the years.
  13. I am offering my help from here in PA. I will do everything I can do to be of assistance. If we lived closer together I would be there in person to help. I look forward to the in cab video.
  14. Our man Mike Morgan took top honors this weekend at NJMP. He won two heat races, finished 2nd in two and won the Podium Race. He and his wife Wendy deserve a ton of respect for making such a huge sacrifice for a dream. The Inaugural Meritor ChampTruck World Series has a hard working first time winner and points leader in Mike Morgan that proves that hard work and determination pay off. I wish the Morgan family the best of luck and am honored to have been able to spend time with them.
  15. Mike Morgan in his Mack CH held off Mike Ryan to take First place in the Inaugural ChampTruck race at NJMP
  16. Mike Morgan is running well this weekend, so far he has been holding the best lap time in his CH.
  17. It can be e-mailed or snail mailed to the office. Doug
  18. No proposal necessary. Put it together and we'll make it happen. If you need help with photos, just say the word. Doug
  19. Great story, I'm sure we can get something together for Double Clutch with some gathered up photos. Mack was such an innovator in the industry. The talented staff was the reason for their success for decades.no other brand can claim industry changing innovations as Mack can. I have a movie highlighting the Maxidyne comparison, that corresponds to the fuel barrel promotional item, it is a fantastic film.
  20. The photo was taken at WHQ. The company was Gilcrest.
