I think I will put a Flex body on my 2005 Explorer frame when the body finally goes. It would be what should have been done with the Flex.

B Model with a Cummins
Doug Maney replied to need4steam's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
D.A. Strickland and Jim Dixon both have B-77's with Supercharged Cummins. Daryl Emery has an LT with one in as well. -
I was there but didn't see you. We've seen each other quite a bit lately, I don't want people to start talking.

I will be stopping by Saturday on my way back through the area.

Mack Days, Lititz, PA, Sept 30 & Oct 1, 2016
Doug Maney replied to Doug Maney's topic in Truck Shows and Events
There is no Tilted Kilt but there may be a bent bonnet or two in the area. I had a much better reply but I could not bring myself to post it here in public as it may be misconstrued as a slam against someone in the hobby. With enough pressure and spirits, I may share it with the gang on Saturday at the show. -

Fixed it. We got a new computer and that thing is giving me fits. The space bar doesn't seem to work and when I think I have done things, they do not show up. Thanks, for the heads up. -

Who designed/styled the Superliner?
Doug Maney replied to sodly's topic in Antique and Classic Mack Trucks General Discussion
That could very well be. The visor looks like something from another world... -

This is a photo from my collection. It shows the set-back MH chassis with RH drive at the ED&TC. -

This is a photo from my collection. It shows the hood to cowl joint following the contour of the R-model style cowl. -

I had trouble with the computer. I'll have to load it from work. -
There is no registration fee, but there will be a donation bucket at the registration table to assist the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of ATCA in covering the costs for the event. Last year was a washout that hit our checking account pretty hard. Hopefully this year will be kinder to us.

Nearly all Mack models prior to 1979 used the long ear dog. A,B, early B,C,D,E,F, early F,H,L,M,N,R all varities,U,W,WS 1933 was the first full model year of use for the Bulldog radiator cap ornament. Included on the list of trucks would be, AB, AC and all variations of that model. Then you include the Fire Apparatus, All of the number series, then the letters and finally the two letter models. That dog really got around!

I have several images at home in my photo collection. I'll share them over the weekend. As the slides are reviewed and images discovered in the archives, I will be sure to share what is available.
