  1. Good find and good luck on your purchase.
  2. There's an FL Mack with same colors about 15 miles east of Nashville. I-40, Gallatin Exit 109 North, maybe 8 miles. I have not looked at it but from seeing it from 109 highway. Looks to be in the same shape as yours posted. Another Mack sits next to it, I think an MH, same color. I recall For Sale signs on both.
  3. Sure would like a photo of each side of the engine, standing next to the tires. This might give me enough info to put back a couple of parts on mine. Thanks
  4. Any way is ok but I would borrow an extra hand, unless paint chipping is a favorite. My half cent info. Red and Black looks super.
  5. Nice looking FL. Welcome to BMT, and good luck with your new find.
  6. Prayers to you Red Horse but stay busy as much as possible to keep the blues away. Christmas is remembering Christ during this time and all of the joy and people he's provided us, along the years. I'm heading over to a friend's house to eat and celebrate life as I know it. My family went to the happy hunting grounds, five years ago and it is not easy during this time. Stay strong and Merry Christmas to a great Nation and people on BMT.
  7. The old dog looks like he's done had it, cause he's laying down on the job, over the radiator. If you have a spare second, tell everyone here more about your dog and what your intentions are for the truck. Welcome to Winfall City.
  8. Yea, I got the Chinese Disease last October 2020 and I had mild headaches, runny nose, flu, temperature, no taste, no smell, bowels running, concentration is bad because I couldn't think of what to say. Worse thing is the HUGE BONERS and I'm embarrassed to go out of the house, but i'm getting used to it now when people smile at me, I know what they are thinking, (Is that fellow Ron Jeremy)? Everyone at the doctors office is also friendlier than earlier last year. Heck, now my life has never been better than ever, thanks to the Chinese. PS: Hope you get better soon!
  9. WOW! I always heard there were only two kinds of people Bad A.,holes and Good A.,holes. now there are REAL A.,holes. LOL
  10. Looks like Sophia Loren is old enough to have her own room, bed, drinks, and anything else she wants.
  11. Hey Bret, welcome and good luck with your truck.
  12. Welcome and have a Ball on BMT. It is a great trucking site to immerse yourself into but watch out you could find yourself drifting into the Winfall Redlight District. Just for kicks @ giggles.
  13. WOW! whoever had it, sure kept it in mint condition. I mean even the steering wheel is perfecto. Good luck with it. Extremely nice shape.
  14. It would be a delight to see more photos, like interior and engine, plus the VIN number off the passenger door, if you have time.
  15. Totally AWESOME. I would call Santa and ask for some help from his Elves in order to finish it by spring.
  16. Would be nice to see an in cab view of it running and sound. Hint, Hint.
  17. We have a 4 8 4 Baldwin Steamer, called a yellow jacket. It was used during WW2 to pull freight and troops. It was in our Centennial Park park for 67 years being trashed by human beings. The Nashville Steam Society decided it was about time to get donations (BIG MONEY) from our taxpayers to restore this massive undertaking. The web-site is www.NASHVILLESTEAM.org and is being restored and should take, (per steam members) about 3 years. My dad used to take me to the park and show me how this engine was ran, dad was a Fireman on several locomotives with L & N RR (Louisville & Nashville Railroad) after he came home from Europe in 46 until 54. A photo (black and white) of course, was taken of me standing beside this massive machine when I was 4 years old in 1957. My biggest wish was for my late father to have lived long enough to see #576 being hauled out of the park and pulled on rails past the UNION STATION, (train station).
  18. Welcome home to the Mack site. Your dawg looks good and he sits proud on the hood to.
  19. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!! 1st time seeing two dogs on the hood. Great idea. You might be starting a new trend. Welcome and happy trucking.
  20. Congrats OD for the many years of dedicated service and for the GREAT photos, plus fun on BMT. I did the same thing last July 9th with 50 years of service but don't like retirement, yet. I was used to jumping up every morning to an alarm and now I don't have to. Crazy what you get used to and miss when it's gone.
  21. Man Larry, that was a nice ride. Almost got cool from the spring air but managed ok. Next time at night with Waylon or Willie. LOL Thanks for the ride along.
  22. I'll drink to that. Here's a toast to OD, so have a Happy Birthday. Hell, just have one that lasts all week long. A Polish Birthday.
  23. I totally understand OD. Go ahead and spend that money. Money won't spend itself. Buy several and rent them out, above the cost you pay and make some on each house. Go down after a few months to check how things are going.
  24. You trying to tell me that she don't like any kind of Balls? Has anyone from up yonder like say, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida Gators, Auburn, Titans, Vanderbilt, just to name a few, like anything southern except LAND, Real estate, Sunshine with warmer temperatures?
  25. LMFAO, That bob is Zina. LOL
