Gotta love those shepherds. It’s been hot the last week or so and my mutts love the sprinkler and our pond. If the sprinkler isn’t on they dash over to the pond for a soak.

Thanks for the thoughts. It was down for a week cuz the shop was busy with other things so I was running a different tractor for a bit . This one is back at it again. This " Kenny" is ok, a regular T800 is better than the T880 , ( my thoughts anyway ) . But I would really enjoy being in my superliner..
Was over in your neck of the woods recently and I see there is a super liner dump truck parked next to some equipment at Stanton creek. I know I know I should’ve stopped for a pic.

Marketed by the Ansul Company, this was their "Magnum 480" model, carrying 300 gallons of premixed water/foam and 1350 pounds of dry chemical agent.
So does that 1350 pounds of dry agent make multiple batches or must one with the 300 gal of water?

Incredible David. You are a blessed man to have the opportunity to see all of that. Good work keep the pics coming.

Bought new by Belger Crane OKC, and Ford made plenty heavy spec L9000, you never saw a L9000 logger, Actually it was really good truck Hendrickson spring, moved some pretty big loads and never let us down, I got pictures of it coming across I 70 in Utah with a 13 axle trailer, coming down that last pass before Greenriver is pretty cool. that trailer on the Ford normally would have a 3 axle jeep front so figure the weight on the fifth wheel and that's how we ran it around Ghana, no problems.
No I have never seen a L9000 logger in my neck of the woods. 98% KWs and Pete’s with the occasional international and very very rare (I’ve only seen one) Mack. See lots of L9000 tandem grain trucks and dump trucks but that’s about it.

Yep emissions killed the modern diesel truck.

Since you’re in the heavy haul business I assume the L9000 is heavy specd? I had never heard of a heavy specd L9000 so I was curious if they made one or you just made do with one. Thanks

Don’t forget about the obligatory wallet chain in the super trucker starter kit. Oh and the 100 ounce mega tanker of Mountain Dew.

Look on YouTube and there are some videos of news stories where he shows the care running and drives it with only water coming out of the tail pipe. He even briefly explains how it works if memory serves me.

Their was a man in the news here in the states that made a car run in hydrogen from water. Met with government officials at a restaurant, and ran choking out of it saying they poisoned me and he died. Legit story I’m guessing with lots of lobbyist behind it.

Wow. Couldn’t imagine having that much money and equipment to be able to buy a new machine and let it set. They say the 3rd generation of a family business usually fails. I assume it’s because the 3rd gen never say gramps and gram bust their butts to make a go of it. So in the 3rd gens eyes it’s always been easy so just sell it.

This video popped up on my YouTube feed this morning. I don’t know much about heavy hauling but watched a few minutes of this before work and saw the outfit in Nebraska uses Mack’s so I figured I’d better post it.

I’ve felt the same about my Grandpas B75 that I have. He drove it home, put it in a heated shop, took the fenders off to have the inner fender wells welded and that’s as far as he got. Ex government truck, told me at one time (1995 or so) he was able to verify the mileage was original 53K, no rust. Just bought a shop last year and am getting ready to start on it. If I can just get it running/drivable I’d be ecstatic. Way easier to be able just hit the key than fire up the John Deere and try to find someone to steer every time I need it moved.

Perhaps the members who disagree with the politics of the union ought to vote in leaders more in line with their beliefs? Continually electing the same corrupt leaders while expecting a change in attitude or direction isn't far off from the definition of insanity: repeating the same thing over & over again expecting different results. It just isn't going to happen.
Most of the union members wouldn’t want to vote in someone who would expect them to work and not let them get away with whining, protesting without any repercussions or protect them from being fired no matter what. The Dems promise them free stuff and more of it for a vote just like they promise people on the dole who refuse to work more free stuff for a vote.

Cool truck, nice pics. Keep ‘em coming and above all fun with it.

My dad for years hauled his 1959 D6 B model on a tilt bed trailer pulled by a 1961 corn binder with a big gas V8. He was a master at feathering that cat just enough to gently set the tilt bed down.

Well I guess you couldn’t drive that truck without pants on. I’m out. 😁

True but US companies (CHS, Cargill, Peavy, Con Agra) own many if not most of the soy bean facilities. So it’s still US owned companies that mostly control the buying, selling and shipping of soy beans.
