    Float plane flying, boating, fishing. I'm 64 and used to drive b and r model macks in the north west of west australia years ago when it was all dirt roads, and rag tyres. Also pull road trains with 711 motors.

    The best way to bed new rings or run in a new motor is to load the engine up and run for as long as possible, ie a long trip. running the engine at highish rpm unloaded is counter productive and may even glaze the bore. Short story, make them work. Good luck
