  1. My Superliner 1 has heated mirrors, but they are pretty ugly, glass too, but the elements are still good and work Is it possible to swap over the elements(etc) into non-heated mirrors? Found a beautiful set, but they aren't heated.. Don't have access to any to compare in my hands (I'm talking about the bulldog mirrors) Thanks
  2. F16's on American roads would have caused quite a stir. Joining in the fun of BIG power in the USA at that time.
  3. Driven responsibly, does that set-up return reasonable fuel mileage?
  4. No.. He scrapped it. I was just there last week.. It was pretty rough, would have taken quite a lot to get roadworthy... but the hood was good. No title and wanted $2500.
  5. I tried to buy that Road Boss at least ten years ago. Guy that owned it was a contractor for fedex. Had all kinds of old iron. Farm equipment etc. I don’t think he really wanted to sell it even though it was advertised .. more like someone was onhis neck to let stuff go. Something was the matter with the clutch, truck wouldn’t move
  6. I'd like to find a few of those original lug nut covers.. anybody have some?
  7. Anybody know if this was an option on Superliners? Or was this a one-off? Anybody have any other images of this paint job? Thanks
  8. (Asking for friend in Holland, not my truck) Looking for confirmation on the installation procedure for the thermostat install on E9. Bulletin shows installation tool, and has note on the bottom.. does the sleeve come out with the tool? Or Does it stay with teflon? Friend says it's not closing after opening.
  9. Hoping someone can provide a higher definition image of these SUuperliner designs... anyone? Anyone? Anyone??
  10. Normal might be too strong, but I've seen that passenger seat in several Macks over the years.
  11. 3 year bump.. I'm with you, I'd like to see some better pictures as well.
  12. I have only ever seen one.. does anyone have production numbers on E9 Cruiseliners?
  13. It is the M60. My father's involvement in Vietnam is almost entirely unknown to me, but I do know that he carried the M60. . . and that after being drafted, and subsequently sent to Alaska (Fort Greely?) to dig potatoes and haul trash, he volunteered to go to Vietnam to escape the cold and bleak boredom... the rest is mostly a mystery to me. I do know his older brother became a Marine reservist which I understood was the safe choice for him to make(?) while leaving his younger brother at home to help granddad farm... Dad drew the short straw. He was 19 when he left.
  14. I've tried and tried to get more photos of this old rig.. owner says he will, but never does.
  15. I like them.. and I'm even partial to the TD volvo engine and transmission.. smooth, efficient, and strong.
  16. Loads and Loads of 'em working hard grossing 74 metric tonne in Brazil.
  17. I've never seen an N14 (or an E model Cat) in a Mack, but there were a number built with the Cummins ISX. I've seen a CL Mack with a 60 series in it as well.
  18. Even better!... but I have serious doubts about getting a VISA as an American to Iran.
