  1. The exchange rate is 3~:1.... Listed for R450.00,00 That $133,000 and change...
  2. https://carro.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-1004691497-mack-super-liner-_JM $133,000.00!
  3. The seller wants someone to buy it all.... so I was just prefacing that in effort to get an appraisal .... He sent a pic of the engine tag.. confirmed engine is original to the '87 truck... I know its not the stamp in the timing cover.... but it is a late air/water tip turbine!
  4. Its not local, can you tell me where to have the seller look?.... and, what's that rig worth?... as pictured The 6 speed is already sold. I always forget which pump went with which engine.. the Maxidyne's had one and the 300+, 350's had another....
  5. This is supposedly an '87 tip turbine DM.
  6. Were all tip turbine's two valve? I've seen that set-up in hard nosed Macks into the late 80's... but the two valve was discontinued with the e6 or was it?
  7. I've never heard of such a thing.... seriously... this is something that happens??

  9. I broke one of those grossing 96k once... it was exciting. Rode nice before that though.
  10. Globalists see no need for any of this weaponry .... "don't we all bleed red?"
  11. What size are your Wesco's??? Maybe they'll fit me. I'm getting desperate.
  12. Have you owned any? I like the idea of spending big money and getting good service and quality... but somehow, I can't believe they'd be willing to rebuild boots that fail from working in a dairy barn....
  13. a 4020 did not have an especially robust rear-end. I'm thinking it was a conversation piece only. The Detroit repower's were somewhat common, but as everyone knows, the torque on that Mack would break that JD's back in tough ground.

  15. I've never run a 5 speed Mack, but opinions on them seems to be all-over-the-map... I've read more than once, I'm certain, at how strong and competent that 300 5 speed combo was... driver friendly etc... even at full weights (or so I was led to believe) ... Then there's the problems the OP has. I've met more guys who hate 5 speeds than guys who love them. Always a curiosity to me. The only Mack trans that receives universal praise is the vaunted 12 speed.
  16. Flatbed Annie and Sweetie Pie featured a sharp Superliner if I recall.
  17. I agree... I've joined a few facebook groups and questions get pushed down quickly ... Facebook does seem better for photos, but these forums create a far better community.
  18. Why haven't North American truck builders had any measurable success in South America? There are minuscule numbers of 9800's there compared to European trucks.
  19. Its tight to the frame rail.. damn near need a mirror to get a visual on it.. right?
