    I have a suggestion... try ramming some aluminum wire into the groove, tapping it in and around using a flat head screw driver. Could use copper too, but I think aluminum expands more than copper. Worth trying. In my experience, putty probably won't work.

    Looks like a sweet rig.. some new shoes and go to work... It'd new some valves/airlines to pull a trailer though, right? Is that lever on the floor a driveshaft brake?

    Ever since DPF became standard issue on new engines, I've heard nothing good about fuel economy, although I must admit, I meet relatively few new truck owners ... what are new New NEW trucks getting for fuel economy?

    I ran a 3208 in an L8000 fuel peddler, used oil from new and 5 mpg... replaced with a 5.9 cummins @ 230hp in a FL70... what an improvement in every way imaginable

    That 10x6 is just plain weird looking. Just can't imagine what it'd feel like to run one. With those engine choices, and the pay-load, I'd think they'd be pretty slow movers.
