      i agree. sorry but there are some R models that look good with alcoas and some that look good with Daytons. I do hate that F model style after thought plastic grille tho haha

      i think so,,,started out looking for carsbad dragstrip videos,,,and differant videos kept popping up and i kept clicking on them....not sure where it was,,,,,we go to san diego all the time,,and i didnt even know they had a track there,,,now i wanna go,,we usually go to sonoma,,,for drag raging..its the closest one to here  for pros...bob

  3. forgot to mention,,,i always enjoy people like you,,that are doing a good bussiness,,with the snow,,,makes me feel good to see all our ski  lodges slammed  with a heavy snow fall....we have a lot of them in the area.....merry christmas my friend...bob

      I saw that thread.  IIRC his name is Leon.  He was at Gerhart's a couple years ago and bought this H from John Chalmers (Chambersburg, PA).  Leon was one happy person.  Now the "real fun" begins.  Thanks!  Ken

      Good to meet you too, Bob. I've been to Macungie 3 times and it is definitely one of the best. It's about a 250 mile drive for me so I want Friday night off if making the trip, but that's hard get in the summer when it's peak vacation season. I haven't yet been to the factory or museum but those are on the to do list. The weather is much nicer today. 71 degrees at 7pm going down to 55 tonight. That's more like it.

  12. geeesus,aint that a bitch,,i had 1000 bucks saved to start buying tires for mine,,and got va slipped disc,had to have surgery,and had to use the thousand to live on,,see what i mean,the 15 years,,seems to be one thing after the next,nother thing im pissed about is i was only 39 when i got it,and now im 55,had more ambition in 94.lol.wow guess ive had it 17 years,geeeeeeees!.bob

  14. heh,,just happened to be on when you wrote,,,and yes i know what u mean,,,not always funds,sometimes the time,and the truck waws stored 60 miles from here at one time,,that didnt help...no place to work,but im fixen on putting up a shop in the next year,and half,,hopefully,and if i do,ill be jumping on it,ive had my DM 15 years,and hardly touched it,lol.starting to get embarassing..good luck,man
