  1. My father and I have gotten to know the owner of these trucks, Stan. Nice guy. Before he bought his Superliner he tried to buy my fathers. He said he was going to make it really nice. My father told him it was nice enough the way it was and it was not for sale. He has managed to make due without my father's truck. I think her had another truck at South Bend, too. Mike

All of Stan's trucks are really sharp,he's got a B61,another light blue '85 Superliner with a Double Eagle, and a E9 powered big bunk CL.

That must be Stan Lehman from Cleveland Ohio.I've known Stan for almost 20 years.Stan is a really good guy who lives and breaths Mack trucks. If he were to appear in advertising for Mack and give testimonials everyone would want to own a Mack.Great guy. Steve

  2. I was at Beam Mack in Rochester NY today. I saw a NYSDOT Granite tractor there that was equipped with smooth ,black plastic full fenders. I found a tag that said Lifetime.Didn't have my camera and didn't want to use my cellphone and risk an upside down shot.I will get a pic shortly though, and post it.Fenders looked much better than the Minimizers that we are using. Steve

  3. It's a hard call to make without seeing the truck Is the cab in good condition, not rusted or beat up? What shape is the frame in besides the repair? How many miles and engine history? Could be worth 10 cents a pound(about $1600) or if it's really nice much more. Guess you've got to decide. Check TruckPaper and you can get an idea what they are going for. Steve

  4. A customer of ours just got 2 CHN Macks with M-Drive.They haul milk tankers and after 2 weeks with the trucks are very impressed with them. The smooth shifts are critical for slosh loads as you know. The drivers tell me the shifts are super smooth, even under full power climbing hills.I'll get some pics soon, nice looking trucks.Love the axle forward. Steve

I think I remember seeing that truck (and a few others from the TJM fleet) loading ground limestone (or "pin head" as they called it at the plant) at Con Lime near Bellefonte, PA.

Thanks for fixing that Terry. Not going to ask you how 'cause I wouldn't understand anyway. That truck has been to Con Lime hundreds of times in the 20 plus years we used it.I only ran it 3 years but my good friend Jim Perkins(J bolt) ran it for years and years. He always kept it pristine. This picture was taken when the truck was 12 or 13 years old. It's the only pic I have of it. Steve
