  1. Travis, I,ve never seen a clock like that. Which of the other two are you looking for?Steve
  2. There's not much different in early to late T 2090 trans. There were a few updates to the sliding clutches for hi and low range, but installation is the same. I have a manual you can borrow, send a PM and I'll mail it and you can return it when done. Steve
  3. Nice job! Lots of work but well worth it. Way better than patching and buttering it up. Keep the pics coming. Steve
  4. That's a nice looking truck! In my opinion the best that Mack currently produces.Hope it treats you well. Steve
  5. Yes, you have to be a deaner to buy direct from PAI. You can however buy from a dealer. We are a PAI dealer and sell alot of parts and use alot on our own trucks and farm tractors. The quality is exellant and pricing is reasonable.I have rebuilt several 855 and N-14 Cummins with thier kits and have had no problems. Many of the parts on my Superliner came from PAI. Steve
  6. That's poor mans goldleaf, just vinyl. And don't worry about parking next to mine, yours is gorgeous Mike,I thought I could get away with utilizing some Paccar innovations on the Mack, but you caught me.Didn't have my mounts made yet,so I improvised so it could be striped.
  7. Thanks everyone! Appreciate the kind words.I plan on going to Macungie and hope to meet alot of you.One last set of pics then I'll quit hogging the limelight.
  8. Hi Don. Good to hear from you. The girl who does this is Southpawz Graphics in Perry. I've got her card in my toolbox at work. Will get the no. for you. Thanks,Steve
  9. Thanks guys. I am being a big showoff now 'cause it's almost doneThis is the shop where I work.I'm allowed to bring mine in nights and weekends. No Vinnie,I won't drive it 'til spring so I don't mess it up.Steve
  10. I was lucky, the boot is in good shape. Not cracked on top corners. I work with a young fellow who did commercial roofing in the past and he tells me the rubber roofing material would be perfect for this. He brought in a small piece which I've made gaskets for the bunk latches, hood latches, etc. It is about 1/8" thick and quite pliable, I think it would be ideal.Steve
  11. Thanks Vinnie. Probably Sat. night. The lady is coming Sat AM to letter and stripe it. Steve
  12. Vlad, the frame didn't require too much work. I welded all the holes shut from the Neway ARD 244 that was on it.Redrilled for a Maxilite suspension, replaced all crossmembers. Needle scaled, ground and painted.Nothing compared to the job you undertook with the riveting, sandblasting, ect. Here,s a few shots of the sleeper.I finished painting Monday night.Hung the doors and installed latches and ready to put back on tomorrow night. And a couple of shots of a customers very nice RD tri-axle milk tanker, 'cause everyone likes pics and RDs
  13. That is a sharp looking truck! Nice job! Steve
  14. I've messed with these for the last 35 years and have come to realize there is no science, just trial and error. At there best they are OK. After awhile the weatherstripping will conform to the door and the door will close better. It's hard to keep the strikers tight enough to hold adjustment. Just keep messing with it. Steve
  15. Wow Ray! You can pack a trailer full! Quite a variety of junk. Steve
  16. Hi,one of the members(I think) has a nice one on Ebay.Andrew James It is from Arizona and is now in Ohio. His no. is 330-506-6270 Steve
  17. it would be a lot of work. The driveshaft would need to be shortened, you need different mounts,it may not have the same yoke, etc. It would be easier to fix the 8LL.It's probably a worn sliding clutch as well as the gear it mates to.With a repair manual it's not a bad job. steve
  18. Vlad, wonderful job! I can see you are indeed a craftsman.Nice! Steve
  19. Scott still has this. He is co-owner of 5 Corners Welding, Bliss,NY.He can be reached at 585-322-7369 during business hours. He's usually in before 6AM.
  20. Is this what you have in mind? This is 2 piece design . Steve
  21. I want to wish everyone out there a safe, happy and prosperous new year. Steve
  22. Ray,I had some immitation gold leaf made to outline the design that was on it.It's 3/4 " wide with a 1/4" orange border on each side.Ther's a girl up this way that does the fire trucks,I like her work so got her to do this for me.Hopefully this coming weekend she will do the cab and hood. Here's a pic of what it was, I know you only saw it briefly when you were up. No chrome for the engine.See you Ray,Steve
  23. Thanks Ray. No, it's just a skinny E6 350 2 valve.Hope you and yours had a real good Christmas.
