  3. Hi, did you try Barry at Watts? I'm not sure if this number has been superceded, but they could tell you right away. I'm sure it's still availible,a friend bought one recently. Steve

  7. Saw this Granite at the dealer today. I've never seen any carriers with these brackets on right side. Thinking these are 46,000# rears.Pretty sure they are cast.

  9. Got these pics of the Granite I spoke of.It says FleetEngineers, not Lifetime(didn't have my reading glasses on)
  10. That must be Stan Lehman from Cleveland Ohio.I've known Stan for almost 20 years.Stan is a really good guy who lives and breaths Mack trucks. If he were to appear in advertising for Mack and give testimonials everyone would want to own a Mack.Great guy. Steve
  11. I was at Beam Mack in Rochester NY today. I saw a NYSDOT Granite tractor there that was equipped with smooth ,black plastic full fenders. I found a tag that said Lifetime.Didn't have my camera and didn't want to use my cellphone and risk an upside down shot.I will get a pic shortly though, and post it.Fenders looked much better than the Minimizers that we are using. Steve
  12. Happy birthday to you! I really look forward to your pictures of the week, and of course the good looking wimmins too.Enjoy your day. Steve
  13. Yea,thats a coolant heated fuel/water seperator. There is a drain on bottom to get rid of the water and crud.Don't open the drain while the engine is running or it will suck the system full of air.Had a few road calls for that.We had these on the early CH Macks.Steve
  14. It's a hard call to make without seeing the truck Is the cab in good condition, not rusted or beat up? What shape is the frame in besides the repair? How many miles and engine history? Could be worth 10 cents a pound(about $1600) or if it's really nice much more. Guess you've got to decide. Check TruckPaper and you can get an idea what they are going for. Steve
  15. Check the fuel filter(s), it may be starving for fuel. Steve
  16. A customer of ours just got 2 CHN Macks with M-Drive.They haul milk tankers and after 2 weeks with the trucks are very impressed with them. The smooth shifts are critical for slosh loads as you know. The drivers tell me the shifts are super smooth, even under full power climbing hills.I'll get some pics soon, nice looking trucks.Love the axle forward. Steve
  17. Nice job Ray! Lots of work. Can't wait to see it again. Steve
  18. Nice trucks! I saw your father's Superliner at Cortland last year, that's a nice clean truck as well.Steve
  19. Ray,yes you have a pretty little wife and I'm sure you're very proud of her.And your CH looks nice neat and clean.I really enjoyed our visit last week. Steve
  20. Normally a tee is put in the left front air bag and a 1/4 inch nylon air line is run into cab.The guage is put in the lower part of the panel in front of shift lever. Steve
  21. Thanks for fixing that Terry. Not going to ask you how 'cause I wouldn't understand anyway. That truck has been to Con Lime hundreds of times in the 20 plus years we used it.I only ran it 3 years but my good friend Jim Perkins(J bolt) ran it for years and years. He always kept it pristine. This picture was taken when the truck was 12 or 13 years old. It's the only pic I have of it. Steve
  22. Mike, just a show of my scanning and computer lack of skill. And that took me an hour. Steve
  23. Scan.pdf Here's a pic of a 1980 RWS 788LST that I drove from new.I ran from Rochester/Buffalo NY area to York,PA area.It had a tip tubine E-6 350,a RTO-12513 Fuller,3.87 ratio 38,000 Mack rears on 60" antisway springs. Was a real bear in the day.Steve
