  1. Rob, I have the manuals at work. I can have Mark fax you a copy of the plumbing schematic tomorrow. Steve
  2. Hi, the exhaust is .024, the intake is .016. Make sure you use timing marks either on flywheel or on vibration damper. This depends on whether it's mechanical or electronic, early E-7 s were either way. As for the Jake I believe .080 is the proper clearance for that. you may want to check wiyh a dealer for that spec after you determine the specific engine model.Good luck, steve
  3. Hi, I'm sure it's been posted before on this sight, but how much$ does it cost and what is the contact info at Mack. Thanks,Steve
  4. Ray, some really nice pics. Just love your RW.Those sleepers look quite familiar. Steve
  5. I orderd an axle mounted Ross steering gear for an RWS, a p.s. pump and reservoir and other misc. items from Phil last week. Phil is very knowledgable, pleasant, and a true pleasure to deal with. Shipping was fast and cheap. I strongly recommend checking here for your Mack stuff first. Steve
  6. Cameron, there's a guy who has advertised in each issue of TNT Magazine forever. His name is Roger, phone 610-906-5542.He currently lists Mack to Fuller bellhousings. Always a large selection of Mack stuff. Steve
  7. Dodgeman, I just checked and all I have is for an LFT with EN501A engine chassis no.LFTID5136 to 5140. These were for SUN Oil Co.I'll keep looking. Steve
  8. Rob, must be my memory is failing. That ARD 380 just didn't look right. I looked it up and it's ARD 244-6. Must be loosing it. That's what my wife tells me anyhow. Steve
  9. Rob,in the mid to late 80's we had about 15 RWs and a couple MHs with the Neway ARD suspension. As Mike has said they are very durable, but are heavy and expensive to rubush.Check the bushings on the ends of the transverse beams, if these wear too much it ruins the stud that holds it together.Usually the first thing to go but if you catch it early no big deal,It"s probably an ARD 380 if it has 34 or 38 K rears that was most common. Steve
  10. HI, a CH was built on it's own frame wheras a CL is basically a CH cab and a long CH hood mounted on a RW(Superliner 2) chassis. That is why the CL could accomidate Cats,Cummins, and of course the Mack E9 as did the RW. Hope this is helpful. Steve
  11. HI, are you using the timing marks on the flywheel? They are visible from the very bottom of the flywheel housing .There is a small cover bolted on the opening and a pointer inside. Steve
  12. Brian is that an old Southern Tier Hide and Tallow truck? Looks like one of theirs. Steve
  13. Rob, before you order any let me check my price from PAI. We are a dealer and the boots are listed as a replacement for Mack 95RU32. Let me know,Steve
  14. Vision, you should come work with us.We have an O/O with a 1974 Pete 359, one with a 1984 Pete 359, I'll soon be sighning on my 1984 RWS. It's a family owned company that started 31 years ago . They have about 50 trucks of their own and truly understand what junk the newer stuff is. They have alot of loads going to Virginia and the Carolinas. PM me and I can give you phone numbers . Steve
  15. Rob, we have an OTC kingpin press. On Monday I will take some pics and measurements. This uses a Portapower- type hand pump and dual rams. Looks like the same as a small OTC press . Thanks,Steve
  16. That is one fine looking truck! My first truck was a 1974 GMC Astro with a 318 and a 13 speed.Nothing sounded any better than a well tuned Detroit, even if you you weren't going as fast as it sounded. Steve
  17. Your Brockway looks even better with the black fenders gg2 . That's sure a nice one from AL too. Steve
  18. HI, no that's not correct. An MH windshield is much larger than a CH windshield. They may have been thinking of the side glass as the doors are interchangable. Thanks, Steve
  19. Thanks Tim. I'm going to repaint it shortly, will keep the same stripe layout but will use a darker blue and with silver stripes. Those steel straps are junk. I'm modifying stainless straps from a CX and will tig the step brackets on. I'll send pics of one when it's completed. Steve
  20. Name: MACK RWS788LST (1984) Date Added: 15 February 2012 - 07:37 PM Owner: sm54 Short Description: E6-350 with CMAC, RTOO14613 trans.,Eaton DS/RS 404 3.70 ratio on Maxilite AL 40 suspension, 250" W.B. View Vehicle
  21. Rob, I noticed in the background I see a RL or RS. THe paint color/scheem match the tractor in the Jul/Aug 1973 Owner/Operator Magazine. This is aRL797LST. with a ENDT( 866, a TRDL 107 and a SWS57 C tandem. This has a 206" wheelbase and a Mercury sleeper. Hope I haven't embarressed myself by being the last one to notice this. Steve
  22. Hi, we use 8" steel tubing for discharge piping on liquid manure trailers. This comes in I believe 21' lengths. It's available at any dealer that sells liquid manure equipment. We get ours from Ortell Suppy in Arcade,NY. I'm sure there are dealers near you. Steve
  23. Hi Pat, no I don't have it finished yet. Got to get back at it. I'll send you some pics this week. Steve
  24. I was going east on I -90 just west of Erie,PA about noon today and met a Brockway with a load of logs.Wasn't able to get my camera out fast enough for any pics. This was a late model(Mack cab) with a small sleeper. Not sure if it was a tandem or had a lift axle too. It was pained red and was pulling a pup. Looked nice from the other side of the interstate.I'm sure somebody knows the truck and can send pics. Steve
