For sale is this 1930 E model type 55 city service ladder with a pump. The truck was starting to be worked on by the fire company but proved to be too big for their knowledge. All pieces are there. The seats are in the hose bed. Has all of the original ladders. Asking $4500.

Congratulations. Thanks awesome. What state is Franklin Square in? I would really like an AB or early B pumper, haven’t been lucky enough to find one yet.
They are in New York. We now have it in PA in Chester county.

New to us is this 1930 Mack BCCD. BCC813001 is the only of its kind to come off the line at the Long Island Factory. This was originally from the Franklin Square Hose and Chemical company. We will be doing a restoration on this truck and it’s already begun. We just had the fuel tank cleaned and new tires are ordered. At the same time we are working to get it running again.

As we work through the electrical issues we are going to multitask.
the steering is loose, we can turn the steering wheel a quarter turn with no movement of the wheel. What do I look for first -
Will do thank you for the help. The fuse box is in great condition. I have to check the large fuse above the fuse box looks like a shotgun shell.
Looking for someone to tackle the wiring if you know someone. Would like to take out what’s not being used and clean it up.- 1

Yes the 2 ignition switches, starter button and the siren (which I could trace the new wire.
-
It is negative ground. With one 12v battery.
There are new wires and old wires and some in bad condition -
The wiring is a mess. I have no head lights, brake lights or emergency lights.
All of the fuses I can find are in good condition. Any help is appreciated.
The speedometer does not work either any tips let me know.
