If it was mine, an S cam shoe brake front axle would be going in. Vintage truck disc brake parts are very difficult/impossible to get.
Glad the night didn't turn out worse!

The AMBAC pump number 313GC5126P2 was used on the ENDT676 285 HP engine.

The R is a center mount cab while the DM is offset. The firewall, cowl and floor would have to be changed.

I would get the box installed, bleed and operational. With a helper doing the steering, observe the relationship between the stops as you go lock to lock. If the range of powered motion really falls short or too much then adjust the valves. If it is pretty good do a fine adjustment with the stops. Have the axle jacked up but the tires not totally unloaded to give a little feeling in the system.

Debates are healthy.
Continually lobbing incendiary bombs back and forth solves nothing and this thread proves that.

I suppose the moderators could look into this? Oooops, never mind.... she has a body guard.

Yet there is NO serious discussion about black on black violence which seems to be far more rampant. The City of Chicago needs to work on it. Obviously, the agenda being forced has other motives but with about 100 people dying over the weekends in the Windy City, BLM needs to look inward.

A response using a bit of dry humor would include, "My, what a cozy relationship."

Sir, could you please refrain from vulgar language? I for one would appreciate it. Though we're full of varied opinions about any topic, at the end of the day, we are a family here. As adults, we agree to disagree without calling each other names.

Ratio of 3.87 or 4.0 with direct trans on 22.5" or 4.17 direct on 24.5" rubber. Different ratios if you have an OD trans.
43" X 15" X 39" T. I have already started the long weekend and used my Harbor Freight tape measure so the info is worth exactly what you paid for it. Didn't help that the bees woke up as the hood was being propped open by my head. Measurements do not include manifolds, flywheel housing or fan.

I would double check with the wheel manufacturer to get the correct attaching hardware.

Welcome! Don't have info beyond some of the numbers posted above. If you haven't already, joining SPAAMFAA may help widen the circle of information and parts sources for your rig.

A DM-611 would have been built with a Mack 673 Thermodyne and backed up with 10 speed. So an engine/trans swap has happened. Have to check the engine number to be sure.
Sounds a little rough. Could use it as a pit truck and see if you want to spend money to fix it up a little. Moot point if he didn't take your offer. Maybe wait a couple of days and see if he changes his mind on your offer.

Looks Good! Is the KW about a 1956? Engine?

And yes, I could have lied to you with facts, but instead I presented some real facts that support the original poster's argument.

So, why did you ask "Who am I to believe" if the Pew poll supports what the OP argued in the first place?
BTW nice that you used real facts because your usual fake facts can be problematic.
