  1. Looks Good! Don't make it too pretty or you won't want to take it hunting anymore.
  2. Dare to be different! Put an Allis-Chalmers "Big Al" under the hood. I think that would be the only Superliner with a purple engine. Only problem would be finding one. Yeah, keep it all Mack.
  3. Looks Great! Now with having a Cummins inside, you have some spare hood emblems that some would kill for. Keep the pics and updates coming. Jim
  4. You are right Ray on the Corvette being under tired. If it had been mine, there would not be a blower installed on a split window! Looking back at the picture, the pickup towing the trailer has a NH plate on it. Do you recall where you took the picture? Jim
  5. The "Witness Protection Program" will no longer be available...
  6. Most people won't know the difference. A models have side vents in the cowl, E models do not have side vents. A model doors have vent windows, E models have one piece door glass. The doors could be switched between cabs. It really depends on you. It is your truck and your money. Jim
  7. Shipping Wars TV show is training a bunch of newbies the right way to do things. And bid the price sooo low that everyone will be guaranteed to make no money. What a mess!
  8. Good looking rig! Hopefully someone knows where it is.
  9. Is that the green Mack E that you bought from Chris Barry getting the packer?
  10. Thanks! Interesting article that the manufacturer then had to start building stronger implements compared to standard because of breakage from the higher horsepower. Jim
  11. The tandem diesel Ford tractor (?) is absolutely wild! Certainly looks like a forerunner of the modern articulating tractors.
  12. Egads! The Pike to 1A? Yeah, that route would Suck. It has been a day or to but I can't think of any restrictions coming in on 129. 129 is just two lanes where parts/all of 1A is 4 lanes. Probably be about 8-10 more miles Of course, Rt 95/Rt 128 is high speed bumper cars almost any time. Then again, what isn't in a metro area.
  13. Ron, It probably would be over my head! I'll step aside and have you do the explaining. Some old technology is quite amazing. What kind of sensors and computer program was used? Yeah, right!
  14. Tried to explain to a fellow at a truck show one time that 2 stroke DD don't have intake valves. The guy just didn't get it.
  15. A friend raced a Nomad wagon because he figured it would have better weight transfer than a hardtop. It was a 302 with Hilborn injection and ran on an 1/8th mile track. The rear gear was insane with high 6 low 7 for a ratio (Can't remember for sure). He still kicks himself for selling the car.
