  1. That post was about the first F model bought by a company in Australia, the very first F model was most likely 711 powered as both the F and 711 engine came out about the same time in 1962

  3. It's sad to say,but for some reason,2004 trucks, especially the CX were literally nightmares,my brother's new '04 was so bad Mack finally bought it back, the '06 that replaced it has well over 1 million miles on it now and has been a very good truck. One local company that had been all Mack for years, switched to Western Star because of their '04's and another, that had just switched to Mack turned them all back in and went back to KW.
  4. it was at Walcott this year, has a E9 in it,he also has a twin with a original drivetrain
  5. it was for sale in Waterloo,Iowa a couple years ago, they were asking $10k.
  6. Tell them to go straight to Hell.I don't care what you do,just DO NOT give in,they want you to be scared and give up without a fight. I fought with zoning for 5 years, met every demand they placed on me,license, fence, etc.,they still wanted me gone, took me to court and I beat them, still here 14 years later. Just think where we'd be today if our leaders and troops just gave in without putting up a fight. Quote the Constitution to them, they hate that too.
  7. maybe Gene will remember me in his will,I was truly in love with that truck.
  8. is that the one from S.Beloit that used to come to Walcott?
