  1. LMAO Al! I kinda like the "Lady Tarzan" outfit myself!..................................Mark
  2. Ken,sorry I didn't get back to you sooner,i just saw the post! I like the idea of d-rings,but not in the floor, the original set-up you posted from U.S cargo will also work, but what about the recessed d-rings in the deck/drop? that is where I ran my 2 d-rings in the moving van,the deck provides a natural "stop" against forward motion, and a couple good ratchet straps secure the rear-ward motion. I have loaded something as large as an Oliver Super 88 with this method with no problems whatsoever.....................let me know what else you come up with ok?.................................Mark
  3. I don't know who this young lady is,but I like her taste in trucks!.................................Mark
  4. That's a very un-usual find Mike! especially with 2-sticks! I have seen 2-3 similar trucks working in the oilfields a few years back, with both flatbeds and other equipment mounted. Looks "Extree" heavy duty to me!.......................Mark
  5. Welcome aboard!........................................Mark
  6. Some nice pics! thanks for sharing, kinda' neat to see the Donald Duck IH with the KW bumper too!.................................Mark
  7. Not a weather station, but a similar odd looking thing! this is some sort of Naval Training center in Moorestown,NJ called the "Cornfield Cruiser" looks just like a ship out in the cornfield! I've passed this thing for years and always wondered what it was for. O.D.s weatherstation finally reminded me to look it up on my interweb machine!.........................Mark
  8. The paintjobs/colors on those trucks looks very familiar to me,just for the life of can't remember the outfit?.................................Mark
  9. A gripping report as always Tom! I had to laugh when I saw the hat! I have one too! Mrs.Vision calls it my "Bombs Away" hat! I have had a few odd looks/snickers when wearing it,but my reply is "Laugh all you want, least my damn head ain't cold!" I bought mines up in Canadia a few winters ago. I sure like Oreos too! didn't have any this week, but when I passed through Winfall on the way home I saw what I thought was a Girl-Scout selling donuts on the side of the road..............no time to stop, wanted to get home so's I could take a nap! And I gotta' agree with Yardo,I don't trust a cheesesteak outside the Philly/South Jersey area! Lol!...................................Mark
  10. I appreacieate all the work and effort that goes into something like this, but I've never seen one of these that looks "right" to me?.................................Mark

  15. Got a special surprise birthday (belated) gift from Mrs.Vision, she had this made just for me,so it's truly one of a kind! it's a CNC machined iron holder for my BBQ tools! I love it! what do you guys think?.....................................Mark

  20. Good old song (sad) its called just "Pinball Machine" recorded by Lonnie Irving in 1962. Flip side of the 45 was "Sleeper Cab Blues" pretty sure the one that mentions Galipolis was "Gooseball Brown" also Lonnie Irving I think?..........................................Mark
  21. Been debating the same thing myself,i'm going to Louisville,KY then Ferdinand,IN,just not as "gung-ho" to run in shit weather as I was when younger!. Cold as a witches tit here today as well!...........................................Mark
  22. I agree on a good idea for a new thread! My M.I.A. truck was a metallic brown B-Model integral sleeper, with a mural of itself painted on the back of the cab. I believe it was from somewhere on Long Island? last seen at the Overdrive Truck show, Englishtown,NJ in the late 70's early 80's. I wish I had gotten a picture of it,but this was in the days before digital cameras and my Kodak 126 was out of film! this was a SHARP truck! done just right, not too much chrome/BS,never saw it again after that show.......................Mark
  23. Looks good! I like that new bumper too! looks like you spend your vacation about like I do,working on truck!...............................Mark
  24. Best wishes for a Happy Birthday!.......................................Mark
