  1. Is that a western r model battery box cover?
  2. Wow, um, I'll take one of everything! I'd like to get at least one of your tan dashes. Do you have any tan door panels? If snowdog doesn't want the tan a/c cover, I could use it.
  3. ^ What he said. I bought one from Napa once that didn't have a weep hole and I didn't know any better. Talk about a mess.
  4. Mack told me they could sell the padding and the cover seperately, and you have to get an upholstery shop to put it together for you. I don't know why they can't just have a whole cushion they could sell. There was the padding for sale on eBay a while back.
  5. I bought a package deal at Tri State Mack in Memphis a couple of years ago. A wheeled 20 ton air jack, a 1" impact, and a set of truck service sockets for $700. Best money I ever spent. I believe they're Sunnex brand.
  6. Glad you got it and made it home ok. I bet it'll make you a good truck. You did a pretty good job on your R model so I'm sure you'll have her hauling gravel in no time.
  7. That's a neat story. I've always liked those trucks. I think I liked it better in the bottom two pics, though.
  8. Boy oh boy, and here I've spent my allowance on a western R model.
  9. Haha, my last name is Moneymaker. Haven't lived up to it yet. It's kind of like calling a fat man Tiny.
  10. Haha, naw, I'll be 29 Thursday. I'm 6'5", just a touch too tall for an R model cab, but I make do anyhow.
  11. It was good to meet you, man. I was supposed to get over to Memphis and see Kyle but wasn't able to get away. The pic will probably end up sideways but I'll try it anyway.
  12. We're getting there. I'm going in the next couple of days to pick up a 22' steel frameless Fruehauf dump trailer. It's going to need the usual: paint, lights, tires, wheel seals, etc...
  13. All my friends say I'm crazy but I just like daytons on an R model. Plus, my RD has them all around and I'd like to have both trucks set up the same way. I've never thought of them as a pain, either. I'd rather pull both tires with 5 or 6 lugs instead of 20, and all you need is a stout 1/2" impact to work on them. I do all my own tire mounting (mainly because the guys at the tire shop don't know how to work on them anymore,) and I've gotten pretty good at getting them lined up and running true.
  14. I can wait. If not I'll ride up there in the pickup one weekend.
  15. Just what I need. You want to trade hubs or just take cash for em?
  16. I'm just toying around with this idea, but I'm thinking about swapping my Budd hubs on my RS for 22" daytons, if anybody would like to trade.
  17. I think that stopped about 10 years ago at our dealer. They can't even get engine gray anymore, they have Krylon new Ford gray as a somewhat substitute.
  18. Does anyone know the paint code for the gray R model interior? I'm touching up the doors on my RS, and I'm putting a new driver's door on my RD. I'm going to try to get it from Mack tomorrow morning, or maybe get it matched at O'Reilly's. If y'all know it though, I'd sure appreciate it!
  19. Well, I got a few projects knocked out on the old dirty value liner today. Robbed the white wheel out of my F model and got it swapped in. Got two new mufflers installed. Washed her up and cleaned the interior up. Got to make a trip to Memphis for a new floor mat, dimmer switch, etc... Sorry if the pics are sideways.
  20. I'm looking for a decent a/c cover for my Value Liner. Anybody got one laying around? Thanks!
  21. My thoughts, exactly. I've got a perfect white three spoke I'm going to rob out of my western F model, and new battery box covers are on the to do list.
  22. I plan on pulling a 22' steel dump trailer with it, but Superdog already made me promise to leave the bunk on it. I just looked and it has a Mack part #85QS42 P4 serial #DM2 2537 1085, so I reckon it must be factory.
