  1. Mack powered OshKosh front loads are a thing
  2. We had this happen at Ritchie Bros while we were there picking up a truck. We drained the air and we aired it up off one of the other trucks and she came to life.
  3. Since we have completely hijacked this thread. I called Mark the other day and asked if he could get some loads to Lowell “ yeah, got 2 pulling into Thornton now” can’t beat it. Stop in some time, I was the one taking a pic of ya going by the other day.
  4. The main problem is that in Illinois you are only legal with I believe with 6.75 yards in a front. Where as a rear you can haul 9yards. With that being said the big companies run 10 yards in both. We don’t like making untimely monetary deposits to the government, so we run legal.
  5. I was very positive about it. The problem was that it was to tall to fit under the plant to load it. The way our weight laws are in Illinois, you can’t haul enough on it legally to get real excited about. Essentially you are making the contractors job easier with less manpower and not getting anymore $$ for the Crete.
  6. Occasionally, but tend to use Sid Kamp when we need help. But you never know.
  7. Got some Orings tonight at Napa. We are in business now! Shifts nice, an the truck runs real good. Thanks guys.
  8. Thank you 85snowdog. Everything seems good except for the orings. Hoping the local auto parts store has something that will work
  9. Learn all kinds of things here if you want too!
  10. I have no experience with the 3 position button like this one. The one I worked on many years ago had the splitter on top and the range selector plunger mounted on the stick. I was 16 or 17 at the time.
  11. The parts blow up is just what I needed. Thank you, I knew someone here would have the info
  12. It is not. We sold it at Ritchie Bros a few years ago
  13. This knob is in our IH 4300. It was leaking and wouldn’t shift into high range, so I figured it had a bad Oring in it. So in the process of taking it apart it fell and the pieces kinda went every where. To my defense, we didn’t have any orings, but I may need some guidance on putting it back together. Anyone have a parts blow up? I’m fairly certain one Oring melted away to goo, outside of that, I think I have a handle on putting it back together correctly. Haven’t had one of these apart in about 22 years. IMG_1617.MOV
  14. Did this to me R model years ago. Swapped from a CH we were selling. Make sure you have the same bearings and measurements and all should be good.
  15. Nice spec’d dump truck for sure.
  16. Cool on the dodge cab. One of the first “service” trucks we had was a 69’ dodge 1 ton with a flatbed.
  17. It diffidently shows some ingenuity. I’d that a dodge cab?
  18. Could have sworn we got some last year. The rockers were available but the corners were not. But it may have been a few years ago. Time flies
  19. Should all be available from your local dealer
  20. We have some mixers with hub pilot on 20k steer axles. I can get you a vin if you would like?
  21. State and Federal elected officials should make the average salary of the district they represent. At the price we could give them health care for the term they are elected to. No pension/ retirement plan and diffidently no health insurance for LIFE.
  22. 76/78? 4300. Don’t know if it is a glider yet. At one time I had a KW that was a 66/68 so, I guess it can be a thing. Anyways, 400 Cummins with Jake’s and a 13 sp. haven’t had it running yet.
