That looks like the stripe package they put on the first batch of Visions built. Is this one of the first build batches? looks great.

Sunderland up in Owen Sound had a couple of these.
Its basically a DM hood made to fit a DMM if I'm not mistaken.
Have a look for green paint under that red.

it looks like an Canadiain spec.
It was a show truck from the truck show in Toronto back in the 80's. There was an R model with a sleeper of comparable size that had a very similar paint job. I have some pictures of those trucks here somewhere....I will have to dig them up.

I heard some guy talking to another guy about the bumper. It might have been you? Did you have your wife there, and get a couple pictures with her next to the truck? I saw that guy doing that.

The Old Man worked at Toronto Mack for 30 years. They had a seperate shop at the branch that was like a Mod center. He handled alot of the major modification jobs that were Canadian and needed to be completed outside of the assembly Oakville assembly plant.

We had or decal man make that. It's the Mack Canada emblem with the words "Built with pride in '85" over the top half and Oakville, Ontario under the lower half. Good old Canadian built Mack.

Thats me at a Toronto Mack Branch family day back in the eighties.
The Old Man worked there for almost 30 years before they closed the branch and mod center down.

The one on the float is going into a private collection. It's had tons of large work done to all major components.
