  1. I lost the recent topics also but found them today in their place and lightly modifyed. So everything looks good and upgraded.
  2. I don't know what do they do now. Shure they add the day now, the difference is constant. Originally before 1917 all the calendar didn't count. After the revolution of 1917 Lenin provided a lot of reforms including the set of the calendar onto the international standard. The date of Socialist Revolution was 25th of October but the Holiday was on 7th November. Another reform was a separation of the Church from the State. The Church prefered to keep "the old style" calendar so all the christian dates differed. On this way we have one more joky holiday "Old New Year" - 13th of January - the New Year date by "the old style".
  3. Merry Christmas Rob and Happy New Year! Be shure many of us here remembered your person from time to time. And I can't remember (need to activate my memory though) about any dark notes.
  4. I always glad for everybody who have got Superliner. Have fun with it!
  5. His brown eyes are great! He looks so happy with his age. Hope he has got lots of toy Macks now! Thank you for the post card, she's beautiful like most of them you posting. Marry Christmas and happy holiday Tom!
  6. Merry Christmas to all you guys! Best wishes, be happy and safe!
  7. I wish you all Merry Christmas! As for myself I'll get only the holidays these will start from next Sunday about New Year. We Russians selebrate Christmas on January 7. Local church calender doesn't count (counted) additional each 4 year's day, so the dates are set off. But it's good for me by the other side - the holliday's duration includes Jan 7&8 - whole 10 free days and nights!
  8. It seems to me as very good idea. Shure you pleased well all your neighborhood, yourself and everybody else who saw it. Including BMT
  9. Good plan. Just force yourself to paint the cab instead of stopping on the paint-off stage.
  10. Quite the movie truck. Needs Roo-bumper and the front wheels fade to black. Looks good as it is also.
  11. Nice pics Vin, I like to see Mack trucks in snow in other places of the planet. The first picture seems to me as Volva, there are some of them overhere with that cab. Have a nice holiday! And be shure the licence day will come. I've got my truck one (over 3.5 tons) just in this past june Have took the exam with ZiL-131 6x6. It had V8 gasser and ran as my 1944 NM.
  12. Superdog's place was PR'ed well before on here. I recognized the picture just seeing the vehicles so many, no additional thoughts. With that satellite technologies we old iron keepers need to dig under ground. By the word, I saw some collectors owerhere in Moscow who covered their lovely scrap with army masking nets. And it was long before Google Earth. Hope the pictures of the kind are interesting for friendly BMT members only.
  13. Where's that muddy turnaround he was so proud of? I tryed to download and install Google Earth but it's failed the computer instead of work each time I started it
  14. Nice looking.. Kenworth! I've got mind maybe one of the girls you runed by just bited the tyre? Or scratched it through by sharp nails? Glad you ended up good with it.
  15. Now you know it's able to smoke work. Fuel system revision is the next step.
  16. Eveybody??? This thing looks tiny for. At least you need to add a bus trailor to it.
  17. Looks dangerous for a truck.
  18. Nice looking trucks. The pictures don't represent new shoes/drums/s-cams etc you spent $$$ for though.
  19. Thank you for the link.It must be useful for me one day.
  20. This is the question I'm trying to clean up to me. NR manuals tell ED. I have never seen ED519 so suppose there is the only ED engine. The displacement note in the manual say 519 c.i. Intake mainfold consists of 2 pieces, or more correctly say 3 pieces. I thought originally ED means pre-chamber and END single chamber so surprized too when found out END672 Lanova. END457 is also Lanova but this is marine engine if the memory serves me good. Some sources tell 30's early B series trucks were equipped with ED Lanova's. Have neither info excepting the picture in that book though.
  21. Flowers near American ambassady in Moscow http://news.mail.ru/foto/118508/#photo5
  22. NR has neither pre heater, plugs only. Of course I haven't inspected all 16548 units were made but books told me. On my mind they're not really plugs. They aren't inside combastion chambers, in the head air inlets, heating an air before it gets in. Wonder how they are really efficient.
