Nothin' important, just saw a video of trucks leaving the ATHS show in Ct. I believe it was an A model mack with a40's era freight box and the whole rig had wide whitewalls.Do any of you old guys remember when o/o used to buy old Trailways bus casings and cap them so they could have Whitewalls?  Recaps haven't been legal on steering axles for a long time,so it's been a while!

  11. That's exactly the kit I was talking about. All my trucks have stud pilot wheels on them. Can never ever break them without air. Do these kits work as well as stated. Just want to have a kit on board incase of a road side emergency. I never thought about the battery operated Makita idea. Have a 3/8 inch impact like that, I didn't know they made larger.
  12. Thanks, just got that number to PAI. Its good so the cable is on the way. $25 bucks to the counter. Thanks for the location picture. I guess I have to clean the crud off to see the connection point. All in all I should be back in business.
  13. Guys, Been looking at these torque multiplier lug wrenches. I like to keep a tire changing kit handy when traveling with my antiques. Two I have don't have air on board, so I was looking at this as a travel option. Anyone like these? Is there a brand I should get or stay away from. They seem to start on the web at $60 and go from there. Thanks in advance, Tim
  14. Next crazy question, my cable has been removed. Where does it connect to on the E6 350? I get that on order this week.
  15. Alex, Thanks for checking. Trying to get my cab in order, so I can get on the road.
  16. Definitely worth the 2,000 on it now.
  17. I thought the same too, It had to be all mack. Bumper to mud flap.
  18. Great truck and good luck!
