  1. I saw 3 Curry trucks laying on their side one day when they decided to dump their frameless beside one another. I saw guys forget to unroll their tarp at the asphalt plant first round in the morning and load asphalt right in top the tarp. ( this happened a lot after the plant got a new auto spray down unit for the drivers)
  2. I'll buy the oil if someone else buys the fuel! Lol
  3. I'd make a bracket to mount the air splitter to under the cab and fab up a linkage for the shifter to push/pull it. But that is still defeating the purpose for what he wants to do.
  4. I knew they put them in cruise liners cause my friend has one, just didn't know about them using a 6 spd behind em
  5. U will have to forgive my dumb question! So u can do this to the eaton 13 and not just the Mack 13's? Or am I reading this wrong
  6. Sounds like great progress. Can't wait to put mine to work too.
  7. The foot valve has a little cylinder under the pedal that gets dirt in it. Take the pedal off and the rubber surround to get to the aluminum cylinder and make sure it moves freely. I take them out and clean them with emery cloth and antiseize it when I put it back in making sure it moves nice and easy.
  8. Something about an oval on a hood wether it is a red or blue makes these ate up! Pete's and fords circled their problem right on the hood I always say!
  9. Thanks BC. The solenoid went bad and I can't find the exact one and the others don't like to fit in there. I have 24 volts on one of wires so it's wired right. With the new one on it now it won't do a thing.
  10. On the MH there is a box above the drivers tire with the master kill switch and the starter solenoid. Mine is 24 volt cause it has an E9. Would anyone have a diagram I can get a copy of. I need to rewire it, or can I just some how leave it out and convert it to 12 volt? Has anyone done this on an MH? I'm sure it may cost a little to do but I think it will make things a little easier in the long run.
  11. Does it have an inline pump in the spare engine? And would u want to sell the engine seperately? If so how much?
  12. My wife and I have just signed up mid west Boston terrier rescue this month. Hopefully will be taking in some Boston's soon.
  13. Well yesterday (I know it's a day late) I drove the new pinnacle to tuscola, il loaded up some beans for a driver to deliver to Bloomington, il today. I took my 8 yr old and since the Mack is an M drive I let him take a 5 mile drive they the country while I rode shot gun and pointed out the does and dont's. Came back to the shop and painted my 5th wheel for the MH.
  14. That loader doesn't sit tall enough to me for it to make it over the goose neck. Maybe I'm not seeing something here but still a bad deal all the way around. Didn't know u could not load equipment with the blade facing forward. I guess that shows what I know!! That's what I would want though.
  15. Happy b day! I'll be right behind ya in March!
  16. Lol that's what I said , I want the Columbus diesel turbo too. We are going to reinstall some bigger injectors too. Fuel pump is stuck so it needs to go to the pump shop to get the racks freed up. Stainless injector lines for more bling. He can't decide on a color for the block yet.
  17. Our progress so far. Stripped down the motor for a color change.
  18. I have kinda of experienced this a little. My situation is a little different cause mine was an all mechanical E6 350. The only thing I can think of that may have the same similarity is the fuel. What I have figured is the fuel may have been turned up and the timing of the engine being left the stock may effect the ability to start on cooler days. The valueliner I drove had the fuel cranked to the max and when the weather turned cold you could not touch the pedal to start it like the visor said per Mack instruction ( basically mat the pedal till the engine is hitting on all cylinders). If you tried to give it any extra fuel on a cold fire up it would just die. The only thing I could ever figure was that the timing just wasnt right for the amount of fuel at that temp. The truck still does it to this day.......
  19. Nice MH. Makes me want to get mine done.
  20. Holy Double D's Bouncing Batman..... I cant figure out yet if she enjoyed watching them more than I did? Hell Trent I took a girl on a first date to a truck pull. Picked her up in it and that was all it took if u know what I mean. She sure did like that Mack with that loud straight pipe.
  21. Dale is excellent at what he does but u sure pay for it. He has any parts needed on hand and the know how to do what ever u need to do hp wise. And yes yes he is very busy with race cars and his three boys that race cars or something so he is always at the track. If u try to buy things a little at a time it's or build it a little at a time he kinda beats around the bush about getting ur stuff. If I show up with a wad of cash and buy it all at once it will get done. My friend john is building one of his high performance pulling engines and it's always back and forth about what's been paid for and what's been received and what's needed next. I'm sure if u have the money to build one from him just do it. Tell him the hp u want and bam it's done. Just don't piece thru dale it may be a mess. Just my.02 ~Joey~
